Very Informative Tour! - This was such an amazing tour! Sam, our guide, was very knowledgeable and made the experience memorable. If you are looking for an in depth, historical tour of Dachau, this is it. Much better than any audio tour you can get. He kept to the most important parts and there was little filler. Be prepared to walk (and quickly!) to keep up (not just on site, but also in the train station and at the bus station), and bring water with you as there is little time to purchase a drink in the visitor center. There is also little time to wander, so take in the sights and do any photography as soon as you can.

Very Educational and Somber Visit to Dachau - Our guide, James, was very knowledgeable and interesting and included accounts from discussions he’s had with holocaust survivors. We are very glad we did this tour. It was an enlightening experience for our 17 year old old daughter.

Great Guide/ Emotional Experience - This tour is informative, compelling and thought provoking. It is a tour of one of the worst events in history that evoked sadness, anger, frustration and hope that through this experience it will never happen again.

Informative and interesting tour of Dachau. - Glad we chose to do this vs. the audio tour at the site. There is a lot of information in the museum but having a guide distill it down to the most important information and share some first hand accounts of survivors was very powerful and helped make everything come into focus. Our guide, Scott, was very good at sharing the important (and at times difficult) details of life at Dachau and its historical significance. We brought our 18 year old son and his friend as well and they were both greatly impacted by the experience. Would definitely recommend.

Somber but important tour - Our guide James was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the history and place. Kept us on pace with the timeline. Visiting the camp was a somber but not an overwhelming experience. Would recommend the tour to learn as much as possible about the horrible history.

Deeply knowledgeable and compassionate guide - No one looks forward to visiting a concentration camp. We go because we want to learn about the past so we don’t repeat it. You need a guide with deep knowledge and great compassion. James is that guide. If you are in Munich for even a short time, take this tour.
