You will spend 3 hrs at the Memorial and be given historical context about the site by your guide. All areas of the site will be covered including barracks, Crematorium and gas chamber, bunker punishment block and maintenance building, with historical context given. Time will also be allocated for the excellent museum exhibition.
- Marienplatz - Relax, your guide will escort you all the way back to the original start point at Marienplatz at approximately 2pm. You can of course depart anywhere on the train journey back including Munich main station.

Dachau Concentration Camp - Alun was an excellent tour guide. He had so much knowledge and was able to present information and history in a way that was engaging and a topic of conversation for days. Highly recommend.

Awesome tour. - Alun was incredibly knowledgeable and well spoken. His knowledge of numbers and details of Dachau’s history was amazing.
The tour was efficiently smooth in the transportation to & from.
Alun’s pace through Dachau was perfect. We stopped at various places on the tour for his history and the significance of that specific area, and then continued on at a good pace between each area. He left us on our own for the last hour for the museum walk through, that way everyone could see and read at their own pace and specific interests.
I chose Alun’s tour because it’s limited to only 15 people. Just the right size to stand around and hear him easily at tour stops. Other tours have 25 people.
Absolutely recommend Alun’s tour 100%!

Dachau concentration camp - One of the most informative tour guides we’ve ever had! The tour was conducted in an informative but sensitive way, hitting all the key notes at this memorial to so many lost lives. The site it’s self was very busy but with little fuss our guide made the journey seem less for us

Excellent guide for Dachau - My wife and two teenage kids (age 13 and 15) recently toured Dachau with Allen as our guide. He was excellent and the tour was the perfect balance of information and tone. It is clear that he is an expert on the subject manner and gives it the proper respect it deserves. Having Allen manage the logistics of transportation, knowing where to be at what time, and navigating the Dachau site in a time-efficient manner was really helpful. I would highly recommend his tour if you are at all interested in visiting Dachau.

A great guide for visiting Dachau! - Visiting Dachau can be a tricky topic, yet our tour guide Alan did a wonderful job. He was the perfect blend of historically accurate, yet remained sensitive. He brilliantly commanded the subject matter, as well as got 15 people back and forth from Munich to Dachau and back. An excellent excursion!
