You will spend 3 hrs at the Memorial and be given historical context about the site by your guide. All areas of the site will be covered including barracks, Crematorium and gas chamber, bunker punishment block and maintenance building, with historical context given. Time will also be allocated for the excellent museum exhibition.
- Marienplatz - Relax, your guide will escort you all the way back to the original start point at Marienplatz at approximately 2pm. You can of course depart anywhere on the train journey back including Munich main station.

ALUN & Tour is one of my all time FAVS! - In my opinion m, this is a must do in Munich! The experience wasn’t haunting but so very important! Alain Evans was by far one of the most knowledgeable tour guides I’ve ever used! I felt like before we even got to the museum, I already knew most of Dachau’s horrible history. The only down side was we only got one hour to go through the museum. If you read and have to see everything like I do, tell Alun and the group you will make your way back on your own. You could easily spend 3hrs just in the museum!

Amazing guide with expertise in the subject matter. Great value - Alun was amazing and very informative, obviously an expert on the subject matter. The tour was very organized and ran on-time. A definite must do if you’re interested in history related to the rise and fall of the Nazi Germany regime. Also a great value!

Great tour - Well thought out and executed tour. Alan was very knowledgeable and provided great insights into the German participation in Naziism. Great attention to detail.
My only recommendation would be to inquire as to whether you could return to Munich on your own so that more time could be spent in the museum.

ALUN WAS AMAZING - ALUN WAS AMAZING! Would recommend to anyone staying in Munich or wanting to take a tour of Dachau. He truly cares about not only the tour, but about those who he is guiding on the tour. He also allows you to have your own time to roam around and get your own perspective on everything. Excellent Tour with an Excellent Guide - Highly informative. Well researched and balanced. This Guide was extremely helpful, yet also gave us room to explore what was particularly important to us. Highly recommend!! One suggestion: We like to tip excellence. This was excellent. However, we are more electronic. There should be a link in Trip Advisor to tip electronically.
