Great walk from Castle to Gateway! - We really enjoyed our CastleToGateway walk with Khakhi tours. We learnt many fascinating historical facts and stories about Mumbai. Our host Rizwan painted a very vivid picture of what the Fort area used to be like in the colonial times. He was very patient with our questions and maintained a good pace for the walk. It was great connecting with him.

Castle to Gateway! - Absolutely loved the tour. This was one of the long standing “things to do” item not being checked off, and boy was it worth the wait. Can’t thank Rizwan enough for being so kind. His knowledge of Mumbai history is remarkable, can’t wait to cross paths again.

Wonderful walk through the history of Mumbai - Wonderful historical overview of Bombay from the Fort to the Esplanade through Kalaghoda and Colaba Causeway to the Gate of India. Our guide, Faredoon, was a knowledgeable and welcoming host, a true caregiver of Mumbai’s history and architectural gems. Well done!

Fort by Victoria - Arnavaz Kharas was an excellent host who made all of us extremely comfortable and kept us intrigued and entertained at the same time. Her knowledge of the history of Mumbai, the architecture and culture was amazing and we enjoyed every bit of the tour. The Victora buggy was cute and clean and a super experience for the kids. Thank you for a lovely and different Sunday morning Arnavaz and Khaki Tours!

Digging deep in to Bombay's colonial (i.e British) history. - Having spent some time growing up in Bombay in the mid-80s, I spent countless hours in Colaba and Fort. Indeed, whenever I do go back to Bombay, I continue to inevitably spend some time in these two almost adjacent neighbourhoods. Rather embarrassingly, my knowledge of their history was limited. A handicap that after a couple of hours on the tour, conducted by the knowledgeable and enthusiastic (I'm not sure how he stayed so perky during the course of the tour on a humid evening!), would be erased. Of the four guides I have toured with on various excursions offered by Khaki, I enjoyed the best rapport with Navin, which is no adverse reflection on the other guides They were all engaging in their own ways. The tour is heavy on history, which was really what I was after. There are no stops for food and culinary experiences. Maybe that's something Khaki could offer in Colaba in the near future. Bombay's weather being what it is, I would recommend requesting the tour on a winter evening, when being out in Bombay feels splendid. The breezes are cooler and the humidity is minimal.

Fantastic and Informative Tour - The private tour with Parvez was fantastic. He was enthusiastic and informative, sharing interesting stories as we toured various parts of the city. He even secured an umbrella for us, as we were unprepared for our "Mumbai in the rains" tour, haha. Great experience! Highly recommend.

Review for Khaki Tours - Night Walk of Colaba and Fort - Our group of six recently experienced Khaki Tours' night walk of Colaba and Fort, and it was fantastic! The 4-hour tour covered iconic landmarks like the Gateway of India, CSMT Station, and the Queen’s Necklace. Our guide, Parvez, was knowledgeable and engaging, making the history come alive. The night views were stunning, especially at old building of Mumbai University and the Bombay High Court Highly recommended for anyone wanting to explore Mumbai’s charm after dark!
