Having always read about the BMC being the richest municipal corporation in the country, I never imagined I’d get the chance to step inside its headquarters — the nerve center of Mumbai, a city that never sleeps. Our guide, Mr. Jhaveri, was incredibly thorough and engaging with his storytelling. He brought history to life and kept us curious throughout the walk. From architectural marvels to the workings of civic administration, it was a delightful and enriching experience. I highly recommend this to everyone, locals and tourists alike. Excellent tour - I had a splendid individual #YeOldeBombay 2.5 tour with an excellent guide, Arnavaz, who tailored the tour to my interests and needs (some limits to walking distances). The tour was carefully structured providing understanding of the historical background and appreciation of the development of central Mumbai. The tour was easy to arrange at relatively short notice. A Majestic Glimpse into Mumbai’s Heritage! - Honestly, I didn’t expect the BMC Headquarters tour to be this amazing! The building is over 128 years old, and you can literally feel the history in every corner. The architecture is stunning — those domes, arches, and old staircases make you feel like you’ve stepped into another era. Our guide made the whole experience even better. She shared some really cool stories and facts that I’d never heard before, even as someone who’s lived in Mumbai for so long. Guide plays important role in exploring things that's what I believe in & the guide we got Miss.Arnavaz Kharas, She was very well versed with the knowledge & minutiae of the place. The whole place is beautifully maintained, and everything was super well-organized — from security checks to the actual tour. Also, the views! We took so many photos because every angle had something worth capturing. Totally worth the visit. If you're in South Mumbai or just love discovering new parts of the city’s history, don’t miss this one.

A Fort-ified Ride Through Time with Khaki Tours - So guess what we did on the 9th of May at 9 PM? We went on this amazing open jeep tour with Khaki Tours. I saw their reel on Instagram and was instantly hooked. Along with two like-minded friends, we signed up thinking it would be a fun night ride around Mumbai’s Fort area. But it turned out to be so much more! What we expected to be a breezy tour became a mind-blowing journey through 200 years of history, stories, and fascinating facts we had never heard before. Our host for the evening, Mr. Ram Warrier, was an absolute powerhouse of knowledge. With his maps, mic, and infectious passion, he took us through the Fort area like a storyteller on a mission. So much patience he had for all our queries. We were totally gobsmacked with such in depth historical journey of Fort area. Mr. Imtiyaz, our calm and steady driver, cruised us around and took out pics while we soaked in every word. By the end, we were completely hooked and even over dinner later, all we could talk about was Mumbai’s layered past. If you’re in the city, this tour is a must-do. It’s not just a ride, it’s a real eye-opener!

Fantastic Heritage Walk - We were a group of 12 - 6 kids and 6 moms who decided to take the 2.5km walking heritage tour. We had the absolute pleasure of experiencing the Castle2Gateways heritage tour of Mumbai with Khaki Tours, and it was nothing short of brilliant!
