Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary - Guests will be warmly welcomed and picked up by the driver guide, who will then transfer them to Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, there will be a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a nature walk to observe the rare rhinos in their natural habitat.
Masindi - Here, participants will embark on a guided one-hour rhino tracking walk. After this encounter, they will proceed to Masindi for lunch at Kabalega Dinners. Post-lunch, the journey continues to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest protected area, named after the falls on the Victoria Nile.
Murchison Falls National Park - Within Murchison Falls National Park, visitors will witness the breathtaking Murchison Falls and explore Uganda’s largest national park. The expansive plains are home to lions, giraffes, hartebeests, buffaloes, elephants, and a significant population of hippos and Nile crocodiles.
Game Drive, Boat Cruise, and Top of the Falls
Murchison Falls National Park - An early morning game drive before dawn will allow guests to catch sight of predators and early risers. Expect to see animals such as jackals, lions, leopards, spotted hyenas, giraffes, antelopes, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda Kob, and many more.
Victoria Nile - After the game drive, guests will enjoy a late breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon, a boat ride on the Victoria Nile will take them to the base of the falls, where they can view animals like buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and numerous water birds, including fish eagles and rare shoebills. Later, they will proceed to the top of the falls, where the park gets its name. Here, the calm Nile forces itself through a narrow 7-meter-wide gorge, plunging about 150 feet down, creating a thunderous roar of whitewater—an incredible sight.
Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Fort Portal - Arrival in Fort Portal will be followed by lunch in the capital of the Tooro kingdom, set against the backdrop of the legendary Rwenzori Mountains, also known as the Mountains of the Moon.
Chimpanzee Tracking and Queen Elizabeth National Park
Kibale National Park - After breakfast, guests will embark on a chimpanzee trek in Kibale National Park.
Queen Elizabeth National Park - Enjoy a traditional meal prepared by a local family in the community. After lunch, guests will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Queen Elizabeth National Park - Early in the morning, guests will set out on a game drive to catch the early risers and predators returning to their hideouts. Afterward, they will return for breakfast and lunch at the lodge, relaxing until lunch.
Kazinga Channel - In the afternoon, guests will enjoy a launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel, renowned for having the highest concentration of hippos in Africa, along with other animals like buffaloes and large crocodiles basking on the shores, as well as 611 bird species.
Transfer Back to Kampala
Mbarara - After breakfast, guests will drive back to Kampala, stopping in Mbarara for a delightful lunch, offering the opportunity to savor local dishes and stretch their legs before continuing the journey.
Equator Entebbe - The next stop is the Equator, where guests can take memorable photos and experience the unique intersection of the Earth’s hemispheres. They can also explore souvenir shops to pick up gifts or keepsakes from their Ugandan adventure.
Entebbe - Finally, the journey continues to either Kampala or Entebbe, where guests will be dropped off at their hotel or the airport, depending on their travel plans.
