A must-do in St Lucia! - Amazing to be able to get so close. The animals are used to the boats and the boat design means they don’t feel threatened. We saw hippos in the water, crocodiles on the bank and a swimming snake, as well as lots of birds. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of hippo facts. Boat is a rectangle shape which means you are well protected from anything on the water. Take your own drinks and snacks (spirits not allowed). A must-do if in St Lucia!

Super 2.5h Hippos, Birds and Crocodile Event - Super worked out with picking up at the guesthouse, with a casual vintage safari car. Tour great with great information from the guide. Coffee, hot chocolate and cake were also offered. Great experience 👍🏼

Amazing tour! - Booked a tour with Shoreline and had an amazing experience. Heynie was our very knowledgeable guide and skipper of the boat, who told us absolutely anything we wanted to know about Hippo's and crocs, which we saw plenty!

Outstanding tour - The tour was outstanding. This was the best tour of isiMangaliso Wetland Park I have ever done. I have been on dozens of such tours over the last decades. The skipper Heynie is outstandingly knowledgeable and explained the area really well. Thank you very much for the marvellous experience.

Good experience - Fun excursion aboard a boat to see hippos and crocodiles safely. The hike takes about 2 hours, bring windbreakers or sweatshirts. Competent Guide

Nice boat trip - A well organized and fun tour to discover hippos in their natural environment in the waters of the river. Everything went well and we had a pleasant time during which we could see a number of hippos even if often it boiled down to their eyes and/or part of their head. Unfortunately, not much more but that's the risk. On the other hand, in the city of Santa-Lucia we were able to meet 4 hippos walking in the street in the evening and it is worth the visit! Do not hesitate to eat on site and walk around.
