• Jvari Church - The tour begins at the Jvari Monastery, an ancient temple dating back to the 6th century, located near the historic capital of Mtskheta. Perched atop a high mountain, it offers breathtaking views of the surrounding area, where the Aragvi and Kura rivers meet. The temple draws thousands of visitors due to its remarkable architecture, strategic location, and historical significance. The church’s name translates from Georgian as “the cross,” and its fascinating history will be shared during the visit.
• Mtskheta - The journey continues to Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Mtskheta has been inhabited for over 2,600 years and was once the capital of the early Georgian Kingdom of Iberia.

The highlight of the visit is the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, the burial site of Christ’s Robe and one of Georgia’s most sacred and revered locations.

• Gori - The next destination is Gori, the birthplace of Joseph Stalin, the renowned Georgian leader of the Soviet Union. Here, visitors can explore the Stalin House-Museum and learn about his life. Guests will see his original birthplace, his office, personal items such as his pipe, cigars, and telephone, his railway carriage, and more.
• Uplistsikhe Cave Town - The tour proceeds to Uplistsikhe, known as “The Fortress of God.” This ancient 3,000-year-old cave city, carved into the rock, was once a vital center for Georgia’s culture, religion, and politics.

Uplistsikhe is unique for preserving structures and caves from various historical periods. Today, around 150 caves remain.
