Zhinvali Dam - The Zhinvali Dam is a hydroelectric dam located on the Aragvi River in the Caucasus Mountains, Zhinvali, Georgia.
Ananuri Fortress Complex - Dating back to the 16th-18th centuries, this fortress is situated on the foreland by the Aragvi River, near the Jinvali reservoir. It’s an ideal spot for landscape photography, offering stunning views of the blue water and surrounding mountains.
Gudauri Ski Resort - The next stop is Gudauri, a remarkable ski resort in Georgia, located at an altitude of 2200 meters above sea level. The resort provides excellent skiing opportunities, with the ski season running from December to April. When the ski resort is closed, visitors can enjoy the Gudauri panorama view and the Monument of Friendship.
Mkinvartsveri - From Gudauri, continue to the Gergeti Trinity Church, a 12th-14th century monument on the southern slopes of Mkinvartsveri, at an altitude of 2170 meters. The church is a significant temple, renowned for its stunning scenery. It is beautifully set on a hill beneath the towering white massif of Mount Kazbek (5033 meters). Built six centuries ago, its stones have withstood numerous blizzards, rain, and invasions, standing as a proud symbol of Georgian resilience. It offers a perfect shot for photographers.

Mtskheta Old Town and Tbilisi Tour
The City-Museum Reserve of Mtskheta - After breakfast, meet at your hotel to visit Mtskheta. Mtskheta was the ancient capital of the Eastern Georgian Kingdom from the 3rd century BCE to the 5th century CE. It was also where Christianity was declared the kingdom’s official religion and remains the headquarters of the Georgian Orthodox Church. The city is small and just a 20-minute drive from Tbilisi. Near Svetitskhoveli, visit the grave of Saint Gabriel.
Narikala Fortress - The next destination is Narikala Fortress, the most famous landmark in Tbilisi. No visit to Tbilisi is complete without exploring this incredible fortress. Despite the walls not being in perfect condition, the history of Tbilisi is palpable. Narikala overlooks the Mtkvari River, enhancing its allure. It is one of the most visited sites in Tbilisi, and visitors can also enjoy a cable car ride.
Mother of Georgia - Kartlis Deda, or Mother of Georgia, is a monument in Tbilisi. Erected on Sololaki Hill in 1958, the year Tbilisi celebrated its 1500th anniversary, the 20-meter aluminum figure of a woman in Georgian national dress was designed by renowned Georgian sculptor Elguja Amashukeli.
Dzveli Tbilisi Sulphur Waterfall - Nestled among cliffs in the heart of Tbilisi, the Leghvtakhevi waterfall is a favorite spot for locals and travelers. In the evening, it becomes a romantic place for couples to stroll.
Metekhi Cathedral - The Virgin Mary Metekhi Church is located on the left bank of the Mtkvari River, on a cliff plateau. The first church on this site was likely built by Vakhtang Gorgasali, symbolically resembling the church on Virgin Mary’s tomb in the Gethsemane Garden in Jerusalem. According to legend, the former Catholicos Kirion transferred the body of Saint Shushanik to this church in the 7th century.
Kakheti-Bodbe-Signaghi-Kvareli
Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino - Travel directly from Tbilisi to Kakheti to visit the Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino, located in the village of Bodbe, Signagi region, Kakheti. The monastery grounds are adorned with flower beds, bushes, vineyards, and a healing spring.
Sighnaghi Wall - Visit Signagi, an old trading town with a 17th-century defensive wall. Its cobbled streets, terra cotta tile-roofed homes with colorful carved balconies, and breathtaking views of the Alazani Valley give it a charming character.
Kindzmarauli Corporation Wine House - Next, visit the Kindzmarauli Corporation Wine House. At the entrance, there is a wine shop where you can purchase wine directly from the producer. A local guide will explain the history of winemaking in Georgia, and you can enjoy a wine tasting (2 GEL per glass).
In the evening, return to Tbilisi.
