Vaggelis, our guide was knowledgeable, educational and very fun throughout the tour. We felt super safe under his guidance and he took us to some amazing secret spots in the glacier. A truly memorable experience that you need to have during your lifetime! - Our yoga retreat group did an unforgettable day trip to hike Sólheimajökull. Evangelos was responsive via email and flexible with scheduling. On the day of the trip, the drive in his SUV was smooth, and Evan provided us with all the necessary glacier hiking equipment and taught us how to use them. The weather was perfect, the views were breathtaking, and it was definitely something that will be memorable for a lifetime!

Amazing experience 10/10 no complaints - This was an amazing tour! We were very close to booking with the larger arctic adventure agency but decided to go for a smaller and more personal tour and it could not have been a better decision. We were able to choose to go on extra adventures with more difficult walks and climbs. In our 4 hours we went to 3 different climbing spots all with amazing views and increased difficulty at our discretion. Tour guide was very nice and helpful. This felt like a pretty dangerous hike but we were given proper safety equipment and instructions and I felt 100% safe the entire time. 10/10 would recommend, this is a once in a lifetime type of experience. Perfect guide for an amazing experience - We were so glad that we booked a tour with Evangelos from Hyperborea tours. He took our family of four (2 parents, 2 teenagers) to parts of the glacier that the big tour groups weren't able to go to. He catered to our interests and experience and even belayed us down into one of the large crevices to see an ice tunnel. Evangelos knew the glacier extremely well, had new high-quality equipment, and made us feel safe the whole time. We highly recommend his tour for this once in a lifetime experience.

A lifetime experience with the best guidance - A dream came true with the best way possible. A wonderful scenery, walking on top of a glacier, feeling so small and so big at the same time. Our fully experienced (and very funny) guide Evangelos gave us the opportunity to live these unique moments, which we will never forget.We started the journey with the best equipment, feeling 100% safe, that helped us to get on top of the glacier like it was so simple. Being just the two of us and Evangelos made all the difference because we had the freedom to go off the stanard route, seeing some of his favourite spots ,staying at some places to take photos or just sit and rest for a while.We recommend everyone to do this no matter what. A wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide - Really friendly and personable guide. Was patient and walked us through a lot of the process and what to expect on our hike. Helped me even retrieve my shoe that I lost in the canyon. Gave advice about the local area and was just an overall amazing experience to have a small group setting
