Great day out - Great day out. The road is very bumpy and that is part of the fun, glad we didn't attempt it with our hire car. It was a shame that because the tide was in we couldn't get to the second beach. Otherwise a great trip

Action-packed tour - definitely recommended - It was a beautiful tour. Even with the rain it was very worth it. The guide told us exciting information about the villages and the inhabitants. Thanks for the great tour.

An unforgettable day! - June, our incredible guide was so knowledgeable, organized and fun and we were fascinated by the unusual history of this area. She accommodated everyone’s pace and created a truly unforgettable day which included us having time to swim in the warm waters of San Joseph Bay. Massive thanks!

Stress free, fantastic excursion to San Josef Bay - Rose was a wonderful guide, knew so much about the area and made our daytrip extra special. Our car definitely would have struggled on the logging roads, this tour was well worth it just for avoiding that stress alone. The day flew by, we saw beautiful things and met lovely people. Well organized and made our long time dream to see San Josef Bay a reality. And we even managed to sneak a cheeky pint at the famous Scarlet Ibis!

Pure Magic! - We had the best day with June! San Josef Bay was pretty ok, too. What a spectacular and truly magic day. This was a trip that we had wanted to do for a while and it more than lived up to our expectations. June is such a friendly and knowledgeable guide - she shared so much local knowledge that we wouldn’t have had any idea about otherwise. Plus, she makes awesome sandwiches! Our trip out to San Josef Bay will live in our memories and our hearts. Thanks so much Cove Tours!

Day trip to the Bay - We took the trip with Cove Adventures to San Josef Bay in September. Unfortunately our day was a wet one but this didn't stop us having an enjoyable day. The road to the Bay is a long and bumpy journey and a stretch of your legs is definitely welcome. The walk down to the Bay is lovely and seeing the old trees and mossy areas was brilliant. The Bay itself was very atmospheric with the rain and the mist - a great day but do take into account the long bumpy journey which wouldn't be for everyone- we were glad we did it.

Magical spot , big day out - Enjoyed the day & our guide but it could be improved. It’s a long drive in & out so a bit of commentary from our guide could have been great, history, animals, stories. It could have helped pass the time on a very long & bumpy road. For the price there could be a bit better food, a small granola bar & a chicken roll sandwich was basic, no love was put into this. Even an apple on the way back would have been appreciated. We asked to stop at the pub mid point on the way back which should be included normally as a break is needed from all the bumps. The beach is amazing.

Not worth the drive - The walk was wonderful, but the drive was so long and so uncomfortable that it outweighed the benefit of the destination. June was a terrific guide. We felt safe with her. Unfortunately though, our most enduring memory will probably be the drive.

- The views were lovely and the forest walk was beautiful however I was expecting a more remote experience. The beach was crowded with campers and day trippers.
