Wicked! - Very interesting, lots of history. Guide certainly knows his stuff. Russell was fun and gave us plenty of time in each stop to do photos and absorb the atmosphere.

Historic Tauranga - Russell was so professional and his knowledge of Tauranga and its history superb. The mini bus was air conditioned and comfortable, and his commentary clear through the p.a. system. So refreshing to be able to hear and understand every word! He guided us around the city of Tauranga and its sights, telling us of missionaries, soldiers and Māori battles, and then out to Te Puna to a Kiwi fruit farm, where we admired the abundant fruit growing on vines, and learnt about their cultivation. We heard of yellow and red Kiwi fruit, and will watch out for them in supermarkets - they are yet to ripen and be available this year. There can be no better experience of a taste of Tauranga!

Tauranga tour - Not much to see here that really warrants a 4 hr tour, Although the guide was great. Lots of driving around, some interesting history if that’s what you are looking for…a stop at a small but beautiful little tropical greenhouse and a view of the 24 km of beach. Kiwi orchard was amazing but only 10 people shared 2 kiwi and 1/2 an avocado so truly was a just a taste.

Not a trustworthy tour operator - I would have like to gone on this tour. We booked this tour on May 14, 2024 for a Cruise ship tour on December 31, 2024. 7 months in advance. We did not find out that they had cancelled our tour the day before, December 30, for we only found out when we got off the cruise ship the morning of 31st. When I asked what tour they have put us on, in lieu of, the reply was they refunded us our money. All tours where now full, and not available. This tour company feels it is acceptable behaviour to cancel on such short notice without supplying options for another tour. Cruise ship tours, most people on cruise ship to not have wifi. This is not a company that cruise passengers should trust, that they will have a tour for the day it was the book for. Try Zealandier Tours instead
