The motorcycle expedition will guide you through the existence of ethnic communities residing around the lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, namely the Chaga and Maasai. The Chaga lineage is traced back to different Bantu tribes who moved from different sections of Africa to the base of Mount Kilimanjaro, a migration initiating around the beginning of the 11th century. Although the Chaga speak in Bantu, their dialect has numerous variants connecting to Kamba, a language prevalent in southeast Kenya.
