Absolutely incredible experience. The guide really made this worth a look. - The whole tour was an amazing immersive experience through the rich history of a wonderful country. Our guide Marco was clear in his explanations and really took the time to walk us through each period leading up to the war and life after the Yugoslavian regime. Happy to answer any questions we had and giving us a real feel of the historical events that took place here having lived it himself. Would highly recommend booking this tour if you wish to learn more about the incredible history of this country.

Superb tours - Two absolutely superb tours with Mario - a walk around the old town and a longer ‘Death of Yugoslavia’. I’ve been coming to the Balkans for 40 years and have travelled extensively and read much but I learnt lots from Marko, who was very knowledgable, objective, fun and entertaining. It’s difficult to understand all that has happened in this fascinating area, but you can make a great start on one of Marko’s outstanding tours. Thank you Marko and iHouse!

Very interesting tour - We had a great time on our tour with Marco. The tour brought us to places we would not have known how to get to on our own and Marco told interesting stories and really painted a picture for us. This is a great tour and we would go on it again, we highly recommend!

Fantastic tour of Mostar’s recent history. - This experience was why I came to Bosnia. How do groups that have lived together for centuries take up arms against each other and then, a fees years later, return to co-governance? I’m not sure there are answers, but Marko gave us a deeper understanding, appreciation, and sense of the history and culture of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the hope that Yugoslavia represented for a moment in time. Well done. Do not miss this!

Marco tells you the real story of Yugoslavia. - Marco was my tour Gide. The tour was completely different from what I expected. It was far more interesting and far more intriguing. Margo explained in a perfect English language the story of Yugoslavia till today. The story of Tito, of the Partisans (I should see the “Battle for Neretva River” ) , the story of the common people…. Margo made it comprehensive and human like. In a word it was an experience I will remember and tell to my friends and family. I can advise you Marco as a tour guide.

Awesome Tour of Bosnia from Marko - Marko drove us around Mostar while giving us a crash-course on the very interesting history of Yugoslavia and present day Bosnia & Herzegovina. We started the tour with almost zero background knowledge about the complicated past of the Balkan countries. Marko was a skilled & engaging storyteller, but also quite objective, so we left feeling informed but not persuaded at the end. Now we want to continue learning about this topic. We definitely recommend this tour & Marko!

It's a rip off - All I can say is the guide Marko is super. He gave much information about Yugoslavia & the war & the disintegration & the general people's livelihood. Marko's explanation is what I'm paying for. the so called sites are crab. It's a huge rip off.
