An emotionally harrowing but fundamental journey. - Museum almost hidden, but I think the most important in Mostar if you want to get to know the recent history and spirit of this country. I was sorry to have dedicated only about an hour to the visit, as I had to leave out many stories told (and there are no more or less important stories), but I intend to go back and spend much more time there. You are immersed in an atmosphere of distressing realism, seasoned with original images of the war that pass on the monitors with due explanations. Certain images for some could be really strong, real scenes of inhuman cruelty only 30 years away from us. Stories of survivors, photos of the time, reproductions of concentration camps and objects from the war. I think anyone has a moral duty to visit this place. It is an experience that everyone should have.

Visit and learn! - Deeply emotional experience, would recommend everyone to visit and learn on this dark part of history. It's a must-visit for anyone looking to understand the impact of conflict on this region.

Peace, No War - War must be avoided but cannot be forgotten, and here is a clear picture of the genocide that took place in BiH, one of the indelible crimes in human history. Some of the material and film is the same as Sarajevo's Museum of Crimes Against Humanity and Genocide, but both places are worth visiting.

Moving museum - Very moving and supported by contemporary witnesses. Makes you think and you see that history repeats itself, unfortunately

In a short time you will be taken through the war of 1992-1995 - It is a small-scale but oh so interesting and confrontational museum, the photos and videos hit home hard. If this doesn't affect you then.......

Powerful exhibit - The museum is a must-see. It provides first-hand accounts of the war and genocide against the Bosniaks. I didn’t appreciate the degree of violence perpetrated against innocent civilians in the Sarajevo and Mostar sieges, Srebrenica (where the UN was supposed to protect civilians but didn’t care to) and other areas. Rape, torture and murder against innocent civilians, including killing of children, by Bosnian Serbs (and in early years by Bosnian Croatians) solely because of a groups’ faith. Bosniaks (ie Bosnian Muslims) are kind, good people and did not deserve that. It’s something we should all learn about, so we care enough to fight against it in the future. DO NOT BUY THE TICKETS FROM VIATOR. THE MUSEUM DOES NOT GET THE FUNDS. Others complained about this too but Viator continues to accept the money and pocket the proceeds. Shame on them.

A moving visit - A moving experience. There are a lot of photos and exhibits, and stories about individual experiences. The museum is not very big but there’s a lot of information. We could pay with our card for the visit. Friendly staff.

Buy tickets from the museum!!! - Go here! But don’t but your tickets from trip advisor. They are not the official tickets for the museum. The lady at the desk told me they’ve been having this issue for a while but was nice enough to still let me in! I made a donation at the end. Very important and informative museum. Lots of stories!

The redemption point for... - The redemption point for the tickets could not be found so I could not get the tickets I paid for. You can better buy the tickets directly at the museum. Reservation is not needed.
