Tour v self-driving - We were tossing up between self-driving through the Daintree rainforest or whether to book a tour. We ended up booking a tour with Daintree Discovery Tours and we definitely made the right decision. It made for a much more enjoyable experience when we didn’t have to worry about driving and we could just take in all the sites. Daniel was our tour guide and he was so passionate and knowledgeable in every aspect! The best part of our experience was going for a swim in the Daintree. We were on the fence about swimming but Daniel was encouraging and we enjoyed every minute!

A great day in the world’s oldest rainforest - We have a very informative and interesting all day tour with our amazing guide Daniel, who is super friendly, attentive and always share detailed information as we follow along the full day programs, be the indigenous cultures, the rainforest, the insects, the local industries and even the ice creams we got to enjoy as our last stop. Thank you Daniel for a great day in Port Douglas.

Busy tour, but very nice.... - Busy tour, but very nice. Meet most of expectations. Only one thing I was confused is the cape tribulation. But it’s nothing to do with the tour, just different to what I was looking for.

Wonderful Day at the Daintree - What a great day and informative introduction to the Daintree. Saw many creatures big and small with our guide Daniel taking the time to find these creatures, explain their role in the Daintree ecosystem and encouraging us to excitedly look for them ourselves. The smaller tour size allowed flexibility in the activities and catered for all 3 generations of our family. It was also great meeting and sharing the experience with other's on the tour.

Must do! - Amazing. Our guide Daniel was great! He was very knowledgeable and at the same time not pretending to know it all - quite refreshing. We had an awesome time learning about different things, spotting wildlife, and also sharing stories with our group. Totally recommend!

Amazing experience with a fantastic guide! - We had an unforgettable day with Daintree Discovery Tour. The group was small—just 10 people—so it felt very personal and well-organized. Our guide, Daniel, was absolutely amazing: knowledgeable, friendly, and full of interesting facts that made every part of the tour even more enjoyable. The tour included both breakfast and lunch, which was a great bonus. We explored the rainforest on foot, took a river cruise where we spotted around 9 crocodiles (incredible!), and ended the day at a beautiful beach. The entire experience was perfectly paced, and we felt truly immersed in nature. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the area—especially if you’re lucky enough to have Daniel as your guide!

Amazing part of the world, just beautiful you must come and do this tour! - We had a fantastic time on the tour , it was Russ first day as the tour guy! He did an excellent job. We were so lucky because we got to see three of the male crocodiles . Scarface, lumpy and bungeye. Bungeye was lucky enough to grab a pig off the side of the banks . We caught that on video with him swimming to a secluded place to try and eat. We saw a beautiful cassowary and rare forest dragon. Lunch was good and swimming the the clearest water was just and amazing day. I highly recommend this tour .
