Following this, travel to Lake Manyara National Park, arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. After lunch, explore Lake Manyara National Park. This remarkable park is one of Tanzania’s most stunningly situated wildlife areas, featuring a vast but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the base of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s diverse habitat attracts a wide range of animals, including one of Africa’s largest populations of elephants, Manyara’s renowned tree-climbing lions, and large flocks of flamingos drawn by the lake’s algae.
