A wonderfull and unforgetable experience !!! - A wonderful and unforgettable experience After a difficult period at the beginning of the year, I made a promise to myself to set a goal that had been on my to-do list for quite some time, unchecked. After a long search, I ended up with the guys from Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures. After several emails back and forth with Evarist, the owner of the organization, we decided to take the Machame route. In the meantime, I had asked a friend to come along, so the two of us would attempt to conquer Kili. Communication with the organization went smoothly, and all our questions were answered. By June, everything was set for the trip in October. The organization on the mountain, led by Wency Machibya, was phenomenally well organized. A total of 15 very friendly and cheerful crew members took care of us (3 clients) and left nothing to be desired. Throughout the week, we received good, clear explanations in the form of briefings about what awaited us the next day. Every day when we arrived, our tents were ready and Junior (& “Boko,” Andrew) provided us with fresh tea with popcorn (!) and cookies. Every day, a hearty meal (divided into two courses) was prepared and served! In addition, there was a lot of laughter, dancing, and room for a little fun here and there. We were treated very responsibly. Wency and Estir checked on our well-being every day, asking how we were feeling and measuring our blood oxygen levels. Unfortunately, after three nights, my buddy had to drop out due to altitude sickness, and guide Wency arranged for a helicopter as a precaution. Guide Estir also accompanied my buddy down to take care of him. I am therefore very grateful that, thanks in part to their well-oiled machine and organization, everything was arranged down to the last detail with personal attention for all their clients. Without this kind of organization and care, these kinds of climbs/treks would not be possible. They are the real heroes who make it all possible! I can only conclude that if you are considering going, just book with them (if possible with Wency and his crew). You are guaranteed not to regret it and will have memories for a lifetime! As the icing on the cake, we were able to go on a very beautiful safari with them (George & Walter). We saw everything on the leopard! Tarangire, Ngorogoro, and Manyara were truly gems of parks where we could observe the animals in their natural habitat ! Kind regards, Ferry

Amazing experience with Kili Heroes Adventure! - Incredible experience to ride the kili, especially with a shocking team like that of our guide Dominic. The team is taking great care to get us to the top. The chef sustains morale with good fresh dishes while porters and guides accompany us at all times. We highly recommend adventure, especially with this local company.

Your heroes awaken the hero in all of us. - We were a group of nine who set out together on the Machame Route late July to early August 2025. Thanks to the skillful guidance of Kilimanjaro Heroes’ leaders and the unwavering support of the team, we overcame the challenges of high-altitude sickness and successfully completed the climb. Our adventure didn’t end there — we also enjoyed unforgettable journeys through the national parks and thrilling days on safari migration. We highly recommend the company’s best team!

Amazing Kili via Machame + safari - Amazing 7-day experience on the Kili. Local agency impeccable in terms of organization, communication and responsiveness, from preparations until the D-day (via the airport shuttle, hotel management and other small touches). The team for the ascent was remarkable for its kindness and dedication, led by the Tammy guide, whose French is very good! The food was also excellent. I also went on a 4-day safari that also went well. So I can only warmly recommend Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventure!

Kilimanjaro Heroes the perfect choice for the roof of Africa! - Great, flawless, unforgettable experience with Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures from contact on Whatsapp right up to summiting Uhuru peak. We climbed with my wife in February 2025 on Machame 7-day route, private tour. Excellent support via Whatsapp from Evarist throughout, especially on packing all necessities in the backpack for first few days, as our baggage did get delayed by the airline and was carried 2 days later for us up the mountain. What a service! So it is good to have everything for the first days with you in the carry-on backpack. Guides Goodluck and Daudi, as well as our team of porters, cook (team of 11) made it a lifetime experience. Humble, respectful and professional team, doing a superhuman job on the mountain. The mountain is not easy, but you can make it! I recommend this company and team. We rented the matresses, sleeping bags and a private toilet. This latter option may sound strange at first, but get it for comfort and peace of mind, toilets are very dirty in the camps, it is a good and practical option and will add one additional porter. I recommend you give big tips at the end, as much as you are comfortable with, bring cash, the porters deserve it, please be respectful and human, listen and let the mountain teach you humility and think to leave some of your professional gear to the team, this is an issue for all porters on the mountain. Food is great throughout, but due to altitude you may lose appetite so mind to bring protein bars and snacks, energy bars, even if you don't take it at home, it may save you on a long day by giving you a little extra energy. Very grateful to our guides Goodluck and Daudi, supporting and helping us just when we needed it and being knowledgeable about both mountaneering, ad well as fauna and flora. Young, but experienced team. Tents were comfortable, with separate lockable sleeping area, and comes with two extra chairs and a small entrance area with a table, really useful layout. Porters always set up everything before we arrived with a lot of attention to detail and care. Thank you Kilimanjaro Heroes. Don't look further for your operator. Will never forget this climb.

7 day Machame Route - This trip was amazing. I felt kind of silly at first with how much they do. There are porters to carry not just the food, but also most of your gear. There is a separate tent to eat in, with a table and chairs. And the meals are all big, several course meals. Enough soup to have several bowls each, rice, meat, tea. I usually just have some ramen noodles when I camp somewhere. But Kilimanjaro is very difficult, and without good food I don't think we would have acclimatized in time. The guides set expectations every day and they also had enough experience to know what was normal and what wasn't. Day 3 is a very hard hike, and I think we were all worried that we wouldn't make it after we got done with the Lava Tower. But Paramba and Bubusha told us we were actually doing better than some people do at that point. It was definitely reassuring to hear, and I did feel better the next day. At any given point, they could say how much further we had to hike for the day. One of our people wasn't able to summit, and they knew when he was and when he wasn't in good enough condition to continue. And they still made sure he got down safely. The porters were great too. They always had the tent set up by the time we got there, and it was always done well. They dug a small perimeter around the tent to keep the rain from getting in. It rained once or twice but we never felt a drop. And a few of them accompanied us to the summit.

Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventure are the real heroes ❤️ - The guides are experienced, attentive and they have been very attentive throughout the adventure. We were a group of 19 hikers and we ate to our hunger and even more. The quality of the meals was more than surprising and we always had 4-5 litres of water per person per day available. Don’t look any more...it’s them you need to conduct yourself on the roof of Africa; Kilimanjaro Hero Adventure.
