Great Horse Ride! - This is a great family run farm. Right from the start you are picked up and brought to the farm where you are made to feel welcome. They ask you about your riding experience and set you up with a horse that suits you. They take the time to help you mount and dismount the horse and are there for any questions or help. Once your hike starts it is on a nice trail and the scenery is breathtaking. There is a rider in front and back so if you need help they are quick to get to you. There is no shortage on the ride, you actually stop at one point, dismount and let the horses rest and then you continue on. Once back at the ranch you are welcomed with a room to sit and have a nice cup of coffee. The horses that they have in Iceland are smaller with shorter legs, for me this was great. I would recommend this tour even if you are experienced or not, it was a lot of fun!

Horseriding fun - This was the most fun I have ever had horseback riding. My daughter went with me and both of us agreed that this was the highlight of our trip!

Beautiful Horses, Beautiful Ride! - My friend and I fell in love with the Icelandic horses while driving around exploring Iceland and decided to go meet them up close. So glad we did, this was one of the best, most beautiful, most relaxing activities I did during my time in Iceland! Upon arrival we were given gear and suited up for our ride (both my friend and I opted for the full coat/suit to keep us warm and keep the wind out). Then we were each introduced and paired with a horse for our ride. The ride was roughly 2 hours long with a break at the halfway point which felt like the perfect length. This tour definitely doesn't feel like a sightseeing/learning tour, it is very much meant to be an opportunity for you to take in the Icelandic landscape in a laidback quiet way. The whole family at the farm was also so kind and helpful. I'm so glad we did this tour, would 100% go back again to ride my sweet horse!

Beautiful - The most memorable experience! The horses were beautiful and the fact that this is a family owned farm makes it that much more special. The people at the farm were nice, and we had coffee and a treat afterward.

Perfect end to our 10 days in Iceland - We were blessed with cheerful horses, gorgeous weather, and a competent guide, who gave us excellent tips for understanding and riding Icelandic horses! We trekked on beautiful trails, across clear creeks, up gentle hills and over quiet meadows. Upon our return, we were offered coffee and delicious cake. Highly recommend, esp in glorious weather.

Great Experience - I had such a great time riding the sweetest horse. He was very gentle and easy to handle. We were given suits to wear on the ride to help keep us warm and they did not disappoint. About 15 minutes in to the ride it started to snow lightly. Luckily the suits kept us warm otherwise that would have been a miserable ride. 10/10 I recommend

Wonderful horses! - On a previous tours, the guides talked about Icelandic horses as purebred, 1000 years unchanged etc... so we figured we had to do this! My husband got a beautiful calm horse while I got a feisty one whom I actually enjoyed. It was a lovely experience.

Okay Experience - It was fun and the owner was very cool. However the two people who led the tour (with all people who have never been horseback riding before) could have been a lot more friendly and helpful. Didn’t seem like they cared to be there or to speak to us. Kind of left a sour taste in my mouth for what could have been a great time. You do get really great views though! Hopefully the guides were just having an off day.
