It was relaxing and exciting at the same time and the views were amazing. - Super fun! The workers were very helpful and kind. The horses were so sweet as well! I would highly recommend this if you are traveling to iceland!

Fun experience! - Really fun experience, staff picked us up in Reykjavik and drove us to the farm. The owners att the farm did a great job and the journey was super fun!

Amazing - This was an amazing experience. Went with my husband who had never ridden before and was very nervous. I myself hadnt been on a horse in over 30 years. We had read about the Icelandic horses and how special they were and really wanted to meet them and spend some time with them. And we are so glad we chose Laxanes. We chose the transfer option and on arrival, to the farm were kitted out with a helmet. Overalls and gloves were optional. We were then matched with a horse, and after brief instructions, we went for a fabulous ride through the stunning countryside. The ladies who guided us were attentive and clearly knew the horses well. We felt totally safe and loved every minute. The horses were gorgeous and so well-behaved. Its clear these guys live and breathe horses they are wonderfully cared for. After the ride, we had coffee and cake back at the farm. My husband was totally overwhelmed by the whole experience and found it 'beyond amazing'. Thank you for a fabulous experience ❤️

Three Neighs for Laxnes - Laxnes Horse Farm was really welcoming and although it is a professional business, it still has that nice family run touch. The horses are clearly well cared for and the staff are passionate. My husband has never been on a horse before and I have only ridden a couple of times, but that wasn't an issue. The horses were really well matched for each person in the group's riding ability and they were well trained. We were never worried that our horses were going to get spooked, or run off from the others or stop following commands. We did the 2 hour tour which was a perfect introduction amount of time for being on a horse. The route we were taken on was really beautiful as well, so it all felt very relaxing. Before the ride we were offered protective gear which was well maintained (compulsory helmets and not compulsory gloves and overalls). After the ride we were offered a hot drink and a slice of very delicious baked goods and had a chance to chat to staff/owners and look at the photographs on the walls. My husband really liked the taxidermy animal scene, I was delighted to see a photograph of Viggo Mortensen from a visit he had made to the farm. We were staying Reykjavik and selected the option for a pick up/drop off service. I would recommend this if you are not driving as it was really simple and took the pressure off. I would definitely recommend Laxnes Horse Farm and if we find ourselves back in Iceland again, I wouldn't be opposed to another trip to the farm!

A dream. Just go !! - Amazing. Dress with extra layers. Just in case of weather. BEAUTIFUL Horses are perfect. Owners are wonderful.

An Awesome Experience! - Awesome! Beautiful! It was just a great experience. I would highly recommend it. The whole experience was great from the beginning, and they picked us up at the boat and got us fitted in rain gear and assisted us with every step of the way.. I took tons of video riding. It was just an amazing view of the mountains and the scenery. It was just incredible.

Horses - This was a fantastic experience! The farm provided us with all the gear we needed to make the ride fun and enjoyable. My favorite activity in Iceland!!
