• Flugumýri 18 - Following a pickup at your Reykjavik hotel, meet your guide and take the 15-minute journey to the quad biking base outside the city.

On arrival, listen to a safety briefing and pull on your helmet, then hop onto your quad bike and head into the countryside with your guide.

We will drive the ATV´s to the Lake Hafravatn to have a short Kodak moment and perhaps look at some Horses the bird Lagopus/Ptarmigan and even some Arctic Foxes that sometimes show up to look at the birds on the way up to the Hafrafell mountain. There you will enjoy an amazing view of Reykjavik, Mosfellsbær and other towns from high in the hills and there, you can see the lava that came out of the volcano very close to Hafnafjordur many years ago and perhaps a sign of the ash and smoke from the active Volcano in Geldingadalur in Reykjanes peninsula.

Then after all the fresh air from the montain we return to base for the onward journey back to your Reykjavik hotel. Activity last about 2,5 hour with pickup and return.

Join this family-friendly ATV Quad tour from Reykjavik, where you can feel like you’re worlds away while still being close to the city. If you enjoy experiencing nature firsthand on an ATV Quad, this tour is perfect for you. Participants can choose between a Single Ride or a Double Ride. The Double Ride is the standard option, accommodating two people per quad. However, if you prefer to ride solo, you can select “Single Ride” during the booking process for an additional fee.

We offer pick-up services from all hotels in the Reykjavik area when possible. Please be aware that Reykjavik has designated non-pickup zones for tourists in the downtown area, so we arrange pick-ups from specific tourist bus stops nearby. The nearest tourist bus stop is usually conveniently located.

For those who prefer to meet us at the meeting point, our basecamp is just a 20-minute drive from downtown Reykjavik.

• Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
• Drivers need full drivers license to drive the ATV´s. Passenger can be from 6 years old.
• A maximum of 8 people per booking if everyone has a partner or 4 people if all single drivers

• Please note that pickups from some hotels in Down town Reykjavik are not allowed as there are no pickup zone by the government. Next Bus stop is typically in a 2-5 minute walk from your hotel. To choose the next bus stop: Search bus stops in Reykjavik Search the closest to your hotel & select the one nearest. If you don’t know your pickup location please send us an email and we can help you. Pick-up starts 30 minutes before the departure time. Be ready at 10:00, 13:30, 17.30 or 20.30, depending on your booking. The pick-up process can take up to 30 minutes.
• In the wintertime we recommend to wear all your layers, warm shoes and socks, have handwarmers and footwarmers and scarf or good buff for your neck. It can be cold on the Quads.
