Mikumi National Park - Early in the morning we drive from Morogoro town to Mikumi National Park about 1.5hour drive, after arriving Mikumi National Park we go for game drive at 8:30am to 10:00am then we go for breakfast inside the park, after breakfast we continue for game drive untill 1:30pm where we go for lunch inside the park, after lunch we keep doing game drive untill 3:30pm where we drive to Udzungwa Mountain National Park where you will stay overnight in the lodge or camp inside the park.

Mikumi’s terrain is often likened to a park that splits it into two zones, each having slightly different environments. The northwest region is defined by the Mkata river basin’s alluvial plain. The flora of this region comprises of Savanna, sprinkled with acacia, baobab, tamarinds, and some unique palm. Mikumi offers a perfect spot for wildlife viewing, with options to stay in the park overnight, either in tents or lodges readily available.

Udzungwa mountains national park, one of Tanzania’s remarkable and thrilling wilderness areas, houses unique species of wildlife that inhabit this altitudinal range of forests. Referred to as the primate park, Udzungwa currently hosts 12 primate species. Apart from the richness in primates, the park is also treasured for hosting a high biodiversity of plants and animals. This includes a dense population of endemic species, with some flora and fauna that are exclusive to this park, making it an hub for endemism.
