Laid-back couple looking for peace & culture - We didn’t want a high-energy tour — just something that felt local, slow-paced, and real. This experience gave us all that and more. Youssef was easygoing and super knowledgeable — we never felt rushed. We loved how natural the day felt. The argan cooperative was small but personal, and it was touching to see how the women preserve their heritage. The walk to the waterfalls helped us stretch our legs, and the air smelled like wild herbs. The Berber lunch was the highlight — we sat under trees beside a river with clay dishes full of warm tagine and oranges for dessert. We skipped the camel ride, but we enjoyed watching others in their blue Saharan robes! The final pottery stop was peaceful and honest. No pressure to buy — just beautiful craftsmanship and smiles.

A Truly Magical Anniversary Experience - We booked this day trip to do something different for our anniversary, and it ended up being one of the most memorable experiences of our relationship. From the start, our driver Zack made us feel so welcome — friendly, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area and Berber culture. Driving through the Atlas Mountains felt like a dream — the landscapes were breathtaking. We stopped at a women’s argan oil cooperative where we learned how they make the oil by hand, and we even picked up a small bottle to take home as a souvenir. Later, we had an incredible walk to the waterfalls of Setti Fatma. It was peaceful, not crowded, and the fresh mountain air made it all feel so special. But the highlight for us was the lunch — a traditional Berber tagine meal, served by a local family right beside the river. It was romantic, delicious, and felt so authentic. To top it all off, we dressed up in traditional Saharan robes and had a fun (and surprisingly relaxing!) camel ride through a small village. We ended the day visiting a small pottery workshop where artisans were shaping and painting beautiful pieces — we bought a small bowl to remember the day. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more. Everything felt personal, thoughtful, and real. Highly recommend this tour, especially for couples looking to do something meaningful and beautiful together.

An experience that reaches your heart - "Since we left Marrakech, Zack has made us feel at home. The route through the Atlas Mountains is something that cannot be explained in words, you have to live it. We stopped at a women’s cooperative that produces argan oil in a traditional way — it was really nice to see how they work so hard. Then we hiked to the waterfalls of Setti Fatma, with stunning scenery. Lunch at the home of a Berber family was the most authentic: homemade tagine, fresh salad and mint tea by the river. We close the day with a camel ride (with tunic and turban included) and a visit to a ceramic workshop. Really, it's not just any tour, it's a complete experience."

Solo female traveler — felt 100% safe and welcome - “As a solo female traveler, I’m always careful about the experiences I choose — and this one was everything I hoped for. Youssef was professional, respectful, and made me feel like part of the group. The drive through the Atlas Mountains was calming, and we stopped at some lovely scenic viewpoints. The women at the argan cooperative were so warm, and it was inspiring to see how they support their families through this craft. The lunch with a Berber family by the river was peaceful, almost spiritual. The camel ride made me laugh, and I left with a small handmade pot from the artisan workshop. It was the perfect balance of learning, nature, and connection.”

Family trip with teens — surprisingly a hit - “Traveling with two teenagers is always tricky, but this trip managed to impress all of us. Zack, our driver, made the day super smooth — his stories were fun and he answered our kids’ random questions with patience and humor. The visit to the women’s argan cooperative sparked a real conversation about sustainability and tradition. The hike to the waterfall was just enough activity to feel like an adventure without wearing us out. The Berber lunch by the river? Even our picky eater cleaned his plate. My personal highlight was the pottery stop — I bought a beautiful hand-painted dish for my kitchen. It felt like a genuine glimpse into rural Morocco, and not just a tour.”

The most authentic day of our Morocco visit — thank you Youssef! - "This was exactly the kind of experience I was hoping for when I came to Morocco — real, personal, and full of beauty. Youssef was an excellent guide: funny, respectful, and full of local knowledge. The visit to the argan oil cooperative run by Berber women was a beautiful way to start — we learned about the labor-intensive process and got to try culinary and cosmetic products. Then we took a short hike to see the waterfalls at Setti Fatma, with a local guide who made sure everyone was safe and comfortable. Lunch at the Berber house was unforgettable — everything tasted fresh and homemade, and we could hear the river flowing while we ate. The final stop at the pottery workshop was fascinating — they use ancient techniques and natural clay from the region. I left feeling like I’d connected with the real Morocco."

A true taste of Morocco with Bob - "Bob made this tour unforgettable. He was full of great stories and explained things in a way that made us feel connected to the places we visited. The drive through the Atlas Mountains was stunning, and we stopped often for photos and tea. Visiting the argan cooperative was both educational and heartwarming — we learned how the oil is made and got to try some amazing natural products. Lunch at the Berber family home was the highlight — tagine cooked over coals, fresh salad, fruit, and tea, all served riverside under the shade of trees. Bob made sure we were always comfortable and engaged, and his love for the culture really came through. We ended the day at a pottery workshop where we saw traditional Moroccan pieces being made by hand. Every stop added value to the trip — nothing felt touristy or forced. Highly recommend!"

A rich and soulful day with Zack - "Zack was an absolute gem of a guide — friendly, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared so much about the Berber culture, Moroccan history, and even local jokes that had us all laughing. The stops we made throughout the day were thoughtfully chosen. The women’s argan oil cooperative was inspiring — seeing the traditional methods and understanding how this work empowers local women gave the visit real meaning. Then we had a peaceful hike to the Setti Fatma waterfalls, followed by a home-cooked tagine lunch at a Berber family’s home by the river — it felt so warm and authentic. The final stop at a pottery workshop in a mountain village was a lovely surprise. We got to see how the clay is shaped and glazed, and I even bought a handmade bowl to take home. This day was the perfect mix of culture, nature, and genuine human connection."

A perfect day full of local charm - From the moment we left Marrakech, everything felt special. Our driver, Simo, was friendly and full of interesting stories about the Berber culture and the mountains. The stops along the way were well chosen — especially the argan oil cooperative where the women welcomed us with tea and smiles. The highlight for me was the lunch at the Berber house. Eating next to the river with tagine cooked over charcoal, surrounded by trees and mountains — it was like a dream. This is the kind of experience that connects you to a place in a deeper way

Real Morocco, not just the tourist version - I booked this because I wanted to experience something beyond the usual city tour — and I’m so glad I did. From the moment Bob picked us up, we felt in good hands. The stop at the argan oil cooperative was eye-opening — the women there showed us every step of the traditional process and let us try the products. I bought some oil for my hair and it’s honestly amazing. Hiking to the waterfalls in Setti Fatma was beautiful (and a bit slippery, so wear good shoes!). And the food… wow. Eating a steaming tagine with a view of the river and mountains? Doesn’t get better than that
