The best 4WD jeep desert tour in Merzouga! Don't miss this trip... - We did 2 camel trips to overnight desert camps with other companies but our 4WD jeep dessert tour with Best Moroccan Tours was the highlight of our Merzouga trip. Saïd was an absolutely amazing guide. He speaks great English, is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Most importantly Saïd went to extreme lengths to make sure that everything was really perfect and enjoyable for us. He’s a real fun person and no request was too much. Saïd has invited us to return again for a bespoke trip of staying overnight with the nomads and doing a 2-day camel trek into the desert. We visited - The flamingo lake - The Gnawa / Gnaoua village - Went fossil hunting in the stony desert - Had the incredible surprise of visiting a desert oasis! - Visited the quartz mines - Visited the nomads and had tea and Berber pizza with them - Drove over the sand dunes and through the rocky desert My advice to anybody who travels all the way to Merzouga to visit the Sahara Desert is to take a 4WD jeep trip as you will experience, learn and see so much! Magnificent experience in Merzouga in 4x4 - Said our guide was super attentive throughout. Very close and friendly put a lot of effort into telling us all the details of his land and traditions. We even took a dune tour as Dakar pilots. I have been to Merzouga many times and Said is special.

Unforgettable Sahara Experience - Our 4X4 day trip to Merzouga was magical from start to finish. We stayed at a camp in the Sahara, surrounded by endless sand dunes. The hospitality was incredible, and the local Moroccan dishes were delicious. One highlight was sitting around a campfire listening to live Gnawa music and dancing with friends. The 4X4 ride through the desert was thrilling, and camel riding felt like a dream. Sand surfing was also a blast! Stargazing in the quiet desert was surreal, with the sky unlike anything I’ve ever seen. This trip had it all—beautiful scenery, exciting activities, and a knowledgeable & fun local guides. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a unique desert experience!
