Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil – Refuge

Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil – Refuge
Marrakech-Safi - Guests will be collected from their accommodation in Marrakech and driven towards the Imlil valley, where the trek begins. Upon meeting the local team, the journey will commence in the Aït Mizane valley, heading towards the village of Aremd, then to the sanctuary of Sidi Chamarouch and its nearby waterfall. The trek continues on steep paths to the Toubkal refuge, where the night will be spent. (5-6 hours of walking)
Day 2: Refuge 3207m – Toubkal Summit 4167m – Marrakech
Marrakesh-Imlil-Toubkal - Begin the day early to ascend to the summit of Jbel Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. Cross streams and navigate through rocky terrain. Upon reaching the plateau, take a moment to admire the stunning views of the surrounding landscapes, including the Marrakesh plain and the High Atlas to the north, and the Anti-Atlas and the Sahara to the south. After reaching the summit, gently descend back to the base of the mountain, then return to Imlil and finally to Marrakech. Approximately 10 to 12 hours of walking plus a 1.5-hour drive.
