Nice trail ride and wonderful meal - Our dinner ride was great. It ended up being just the two of us and our wrangler. We had a complete two hour ride and then a wonderful steak dinner with ver generous and delicious sides. We had apple pie to complete the meal. We enjoyed talking with our Wrangler the whole time. Nice evening.

Amazing for the whole family! - It ended up being a private ride since the other people that signed up never showed. It was a beautiful 2 hour ride around the mountains with amazing views. We went down some steep terrain but all of us including a 9 and 11 year old did it easily. The wrangler, Lucy, that led us was amazing and super friendly. She answered all the questions from our 9 yo who talked almost the entire 2 hours. The dinner was good. The kids said this was amazing and my daughter was ready to stay there and become a wrangler. This is a peaceful and beautiful ride!

A great date night! - The ride and cookout were a lot of fun. We aren’t inexperienced riders but haven’t ridden in at least 20 years. The horses wanted to follow one another so it wasn’t a fight to control them at all. We were at the very back of the group so it was hard to hear what the guide was saying. However, the important things she made sure we heard. She gave info about a local eagle’s nest, the aspen grove, and much more. She stopped and made sure we got our picture taken in front of a scenic spot. We stopped, dismounted, and enjoyed a wonderful tasting cookout with so many options! We chose the steak at medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. So tender that we easily cut it with plastic knife. The cookout happens off the trail at picnic tables and a campfire. There were s’mores to finish off the cookout. We were so full and satisfied. Then we mounted back up and headed back down to the lodge. It was great fun and a great date for my husband and I. We’ll definitely do it again and bring the kids next time!

Cowboys work in the rain! - Warm reception and beautiful horses. We were a group of 10 and there was a naughty horse who took advantage of his inexperienced rider, which held up the group quite a bit. One thing that could make this experience better would be matching horses to riders abilities. It rained on us for more than half of the ride and we were happy to have been offered the rain slickers, but all of us had frozen fingers. Lee was awesome! This was the most memorable, an amazing experience for my husband and I.

Not sure - The horses were very well taken care of. However, the barn, paddock area was in really poor condition. Binder twine and other debris lay everywhere. Messy looking. Area to stay was the same way. Sad because the scenery was amazing. Food was plentiful sides were luke/warm/cold. A knife to cut the steak would be great! Plastic knifes just don’t work. Bathrooms were bad. Wranglers we’re fine. Paid for experience I guess

Beautiful Views, Hair, Gratuity - Start with the pros- amazing views. Literally the country is beautiful and the ride is up through the foothills behind the ranch with views of the valley and Tetons in the distance. It is absolutely stunning. Dinner was overall tasty. The ride was good. It was an up and back ride. The hands were helpful and attentive. The cons- there was hair in my food. I might chalk it up to a fluke except for the group sitting across the table from us saw me pull it out and said she had found one in her food too. Also when we arrived to check in for the ride we were told that there was a gratuity of $66 (there were 3 of us) that was due prior to the ride. That was fine. I expected to pay gratuity in cash to the guides on the ride. When I told the guide thank you and that we had already paid gratuity to the office for her she seemed confused and said that they don’t ever get a portion of gratuity from any card payments in the office. I’m not sure who gets the required gratuity the front office charges but apparently it is not the ranch hands that guide the horseback ride. It just left an unpleasant taste in my mouth and though the views were amazing I would probably look for another option rather than purchase this again.

Very Unfortunate - At check in for the Horseback Riding Dinner, Alex was extremely rude. He had a VERY bad attitude literally cussing at us. We were shocked! My husband asked what the additional 20% service fee (which you don't know about until AFTER you book) =$43.00 on top of the $145 pp. went to. Alex said it was for the dinner. I said the dinner and riding is what we already paid for. The ranch hand then told us it was a mandatory tip. That's one BIG mandatory tip! You could choose between steak, chicken, burgers or a black bean burger. I chose chicken, because I don't care for red meat. Sorry, they said only steak tonight! We ate off of flimsy paper plates cutting right through. Says the ride begins at 4:30pm for 2 hours, but we didn't leave the corral until 5:30pm. The ranch hands were nice, food palpable, scenery lovely, but never will we recommend or return.
