- Sunshine Coast Afloat - You will meet in our waiting area until advised to board Crusader 1. A safety brief will be given prior to departing and then we head out of the Mooloolaba Bar and start exploring the ocean for Humpback Whales. This is a team effort and we like our guests to assist us in finding the whales.

Embark on a whale-watching expedition from Mooloolaba to witness humpback whales during their yearly migration between Antarctica and Australia. The 3-hour tour on a 55 ft vessel is restricted to 22 passengers, promising uninterrupted viewing experiences free from large crowds. Not only can you observe the playful antics of the whales in their native environment, but you may also spot dolphins. The knowledgeable and approachable crew imparts comprehensive information about the marine species inhabiting the region, which you get to observe up close.

Highly highly highly recommended whale watching experience - Absolutely phenomenal experience. So much better than any other whale watching boat I have ever been on. There was no struggling to see past others. We made some fantastic memories this weekend thank you crew.

Great crew - Crew were great and used comedy well in there induction talk. Unfortunately there just weren’t many whales around on our trip.

Amazing experience - We loved the experience! The boat is very comfortable and the group is small so you don’t have to fight with anyone to see the whales. Everyone has a great view. The crew is amazing, creating a great atmosphere and giving plenty information. We saw the whales playing for almost every second of the tour. The crew let us spent plenty of time with them without watching the time and rushing! At the end we even got some snacks and drinks.

Awesome experience - We had an amazing experience watching the whales. We couldn’t believe that we would see so many. The boat was very comfortable and the crew were very informative and accommodating.

The best day out - Absolutely the best on the coast to see whales.
Limited 23 ppl so short ppl like me actually get to see whales without a crowd infront of me
Crew is great,knowledgeable,and this is our 4th year going out with them(cavalier cruises)
The boat is so clean,carpeted so we get to go shoeless.
Great for kids and adults
Snacks included and soft drinks or juice.
3 hr cruise and yesterday we say a mother and her very young calf out from point Cartwright.
The journey out is so relaxing .

Above and beyond expectations! - Fantastic experience! Everything well organised with a very friendly and enthusiastic crew. The boat was perfect, seating 22 people comfortably which meant we all had great views and room to move around. I even got to sit on the bow to see the whales close up.
We were so lucky to see a mum and calf and then a pod of 6 males, jumping and thrashing around. This was a dream come true and far exceeded my expectations.
Thanks to all involved. Highly recommended for a quality experience.

Excellent crew. Really... - Excellent crew. Really knowledgeable. Enjoyed to the fullest. The boat was really comfortable. Saw a couple of whales breaching. Loved it. 100% would recommend.

A Terrific Afternoon. - Even if I had not seen and watched two pods of 6-8 whales, the cruise alone was worth every cent. The small group meant we all had plenty of room to move around - we didn't miss a thing. Staff were knowledgabel, friendly and helpful.
