Must do! - Great tour with our guide Jocsan, we saw lots of interesting things! We did 1 night tour and 1 day tour in Manuel Antonio 2 days before, and we were happy to do an other one here in Monteverde Finca Lantana since what we can see is different. I recommand 100%.

The guides love their jobs - Our guide was so helpful. Really wanted to ensure we had a good experience. Saw a few sleeping birds, frogs, tarantulas and an armadillo. Knowledgeable and fun. Small group.

Great Night Time tour - Our guide Jocsan showed and described a variety of mammals, amphibians, insects & birds taking great photos which he emailed to us directly after the tour which took about 2 hours to complete. We were fortunate enough to spot both Sloth with a baby and two Porcupines! The group was small (four people) so everyone had a chance to spot what we found. Highly recommended.

Cool night walk!! A must- do unique experience - Jocsan was so insightful! Small group made for a great experience (4 of us plus the guide). Managed to find a green toucan, a porcupine in a tree, several frogs, sloth and baby sloth, and lots more. Highly recommend this tour company!

The tour was nice and so... - The tour was nice and so was our guide, Dani. We saw a green snake, several frogs, birds, and a couple of sloths. Just remember it is nature and animals move but we were lucky to have spotted several of them. Also, bring a jacket as it gets cold at night in Monteverde.

A great experience! - We had a wonderful and educational time during our night tour. Jocsan was a very knowledgeable guide and knew facts about all the animals we found. For example: 2 species of frogs, tarantulas, green tucan, and an uncommon insect shaped (camouflaged) as a green leaf. Jocsan also added value by photographing animals through the binoculars and sent the photos to us after the tour. All in all a very nice experience, highly recommended!

A great surprise! - My husband and I booked this tour last minute while staying in Monteverde for the day. Our expectations were blown out of the water. Danny and Jocsan were incredible guides throughout the evening. Their sharp eyes found multiple Toucans, tarantulas, coati and many insects. To top it off they took the time to help us capture photos of what we saw using their scope. Would definitely take this tour again with these two amazing guides!

If you like insects this... - If you like insects this tour is great! We did not have the chance to see any mammals but saw tons of birds, ants, a scorpion and several tarantulas. The guide Marco had an uncanny ability to spot the smallest creatures in the dark.

Jocsan is an absolutely... - Jocsan is an absolutely amazing guide! Showed us some spectacular frogs, birds, and insects. Was very friendly and outgoing as well. Started the trip off with an awesome sighting of a sloth and her baby. Watched her move around a tree while the sun was setting

Fun tour and great guide - My family and I enjoyed this tour very much. Communication from the company from booking to pickup was excellent, thorough, and timely. We met our guide, Marco, at the office in the Monteverde forest where we did a brief orientation and started the tour. Walking through the rainforest at night time in a small group definitely gave a different perspective of nature than during the day. Marco showed us a lot of different animals and creatures including various frogs, birds, and vegetation closeup and through his scope. It was a very pleasant walk with sounds of nature and education. I would definitely recommend it to others and thought it was a memorable experience operated by a good company and guide.
