Experience of a lifetime - Our 9am whale watching trip was amazing. Exceeded all expectations - saw numerous humpback whales, fin whales, gray whales and Rizzos dolphins. Have travelled all over the world and seen so much but this was undoubtedly the experience of a lifetime. Isaiah, the onboard naturalist, was very informative and happy to answer questions. Very highly recommended trip.

Great Whale watching tour in Monterey! - We had a lovely trip and were delighted to see a large pod of Risso dolphins along with several humpbacks and a grey whale. The staff were helpful, knowledgeable and kind. I would definitely recommend this group! The only problem was finding the location...use their address not their name!

Good experience - Great and fun staff. Very knowledgeable. Boat was perfect size, not gigantic but big enough that your not thrown everywhere.

Epic Adventure! - This was an awesome experience and highlight of our family trip! We went out on a 9am tour and had so much fun seeing gray whales and 3 kinds of dophins! Crew was so friendly and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the marine life as well! Perfect size boat, just the right amount of people and a beautiful way to experience the ocean wildlife in Monterey. Worth every penny. Highly recommend Discovery!

Many whales……long trip……..got tired! - What a nice day. A lots of whales and sharks. Perfect tour! Could stop the rewiew here, but it was a bit to long. When you hit the perfect spots within 2 hours the rest of the tour get cold and long. Many people got seasick, and we sleptthe rest of theday away after the anti seasick histamines. But overall……..nice.

Be warned about seasickness - If you don't suffer from seasickness then it's a very nice outing. But keep in mind that the boat goes up and down very much because of the waves so that on our trip about 30% of the group was vomiting after half an hour, including my wife. If you have to stay seasick on the boat for another 3.5 hours then that is really terrible. If you get seasick you won't get anything from any dolphin swimming by (we've seen a few). The gray whales are very shy and therefore hard to see and/or disappear quickly. In short, be warned before you embark on this trip. If you get seasick, you get a very bad experience.

Three cancellations, no trip - Trip was cancelled three times „because of bad whether conditions“ but other companies went?! We changed to another company on our last day and saw a lot of whales! So if you want to be sure that your trip is going to happen, choose others.
