First timers kayaking Monterey Bay - We had a great time kayaking on Monterey Bay. Although we had never done it before, the instructions were thorough and adequate. They also provide lockers, life vests and waterproof clothing if you want it. We highly recommend it.

Awesome encounter - This was a bucket list outing for my other half and it did not disappoint. Took us a while, got yo the stacks, to spot our first sea otter who was then joined by a friend so we spent a lot of time with them. Then we headed back the way we came and then spotted a raft of them and im pretty sure one had a baby on her belly. They are absolutely the cutest thing ever and its appalling they are so vulnerable so please keep your distance. We were so happy just to have seen them in the wild. I'm from Scotland and despite trips to top otter spots have never seen any until now. They are awesome.

Great trip - Kayaking at this location off cannery row was perfect. The company had pants to protect our clothes and jackets in case of wind. Also wet bags to protect our other things on the kayak. The kayak and paddles were in good conditions too. We saw otters, sea lions/seals? And lots of other sea life. The weather was perfect and the tide was high so kayaking was easy breezy. At $40/person, I would do this again in a heartbeat.

Amazing Time kayaking in Monterey! - We had the most perfect experience! The water was smooth. We had clear visibility. I've never done kayaking before it was my very first time. I was a little nervous but the guide Anne was amazing. She's very calm. She shares all kinds of trivia about The Marina in the water and what's in the water !! It was just too perfect.!! It's two hours and that's just enough time. I would absolutely do it again.

Fun kayaking trip - Saw lots of sealions, otters and cormorants, pelicans. Kayak's in good condition and easy to manoeuvre. Well organised operator. Be aware that you have to pay extra for a guide.

If you love flies attacking you while kayaking, this is it. - The water reflecting top and bottom smells and attracted flies while kayaking. So many flies kept following and bothering me and my son the whole time and couldn’t even focus. My son had enough and asked me to go back so we came in less than an hour. It was horrible. The lady said they wash them regularly and flies are attracted by sea kelps buy if that’s true why in the world there are so many flies are buzzing inside the shop? I believe it’s attracted by the sweat and bad smell from the unwashed, sea water soaked clothes including the life vest. I don’t ever want to go back and do not recommend to others.
