This combination offers a wonderful chance to explore the Tilaran highlands, home to the Tropical Cloud Forest, which hosts many endemic species adapted to this unique habitat, active both day and night.

The tour includes two Natural Walk tours in the Forest, one during the day and the other at night, guided by a local naturalist. Participants will explore the highland ecosystem both in daylight and after dark.

During the day, the trails of the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve are used, providing an excellent opportunity to observe a variety of birds such as the Quetzal and hummingbirds, as well as toucans. Additionally, many plant species like orchids, bromeliads, and fungi can be seen.

At night, the tour moves to the Refugio de Vida Silvestre, where participants search for mammals like Olingos and Sloths, Red-eyed tree frogs, insects, and much more.
