- Cefalu Coast - This town is a major tourist attraction in the region, drawing thousands of visitors from around the globe each year. During summer, the population can triple, making the main streets bustling with activity. This creates a vibrant atmosphere and lively nightlife. Founded by the Greeks, the city is named for its position on a high, steep rock that forms a headland jutting into the sea, complemented by beautiful sandy beaches. The ancient Cathedral, begun in 1131, is a prime example of Norman architecture, more accurately described as Sicilian Romanesque. Visitors can also explore numerous churches and historic palaces.
- Castelbuono Paese in Provincia Di Palermo - The construction of the Castle began in 1316, commissioned by Count Francesco I of Ventimiglia, over the remnants of the ancient Byzantine town of Ypsigro, hence its original name, Castello del buon aere (Castle of Good Air). The Castle combines Arab-Norman elements with features typical of the Hohenstaufen rule in southern Italy, with its cube shape reminiscent of Arabic architecture. On the second floor, the opulent Cappella Palatina (Palace Chapel) was built in 1683 by brothers Giuseppe and Giacomo Serpotta, adorned with exquisite marble, stuccowork, cherubs, and friezes that celebrate the illustrious history of the House of Ventimiglia, which can be explored throughout the town.
