Walking in Medieval Streets - Monopoli was a quaint medieval city with a fascinating history. Part of that history involved an active small but vital Jewish presence until the Spanish expulsion in the late 15th century. Our guide was knowledgeable and aware of the group’s physical limitations given the heat. Overall an enjoyable and different side trip in Puglia.
