Participants will enjoy a short horseback ride on a Mongolian pony, exploring the hills and steppes for an hour. The tour also includes a visit to Turtle Rock, a fascinating natural rock formation resembling a turtle, and a hike to Ariyapala Meditation Temple, which involves crossing a short trail bridge and climbing 108 stairs (20-30 minutes).
July 10: Genghis Khan Statue Complex
Genghis Khan Statue Complex - The group will return to Ulaanbaatar today, stopping at the Genghis Khan Equestrian Statue Complex. Visitors can explore the museum and try on traditional Mongolian warrior or queen costumes, creating memorable photos of the trip. There will also be an opportunity to hold an eagle for a photo. Upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar, the group will be transferred to the hotel.
July 11: Naadam Festival (Day 1) - Horse Racing
Ulaanbaatar - In the morning, the group will travel an hour to Khui Doloon Khudag, the horse racing venue for the Naadam Festival. Here, they will experience the thrill of Mongolia’s traditional horse races, where young riders expertly race bareback on 150-200 horses from across the country. The vibrant atmosphere offers a unique chance to photograph local horse trainers, people in traditional dress, and the lively festival scene. Following this, the group will proceed to the Central Stadium to watch the wrestling competition and further engage in the Naadam festivities.
July 12: Naadam Festival (Day 2) - Wrestling and Archery Spectacle
Ulaanbaatar - Today, the group will delve into the ancient sport of Mongolian wrestling, observing wrestlers demonstrate their strength and skill in thrilling matches. Afterwards, the group will visit the archery range to witness the expertise of Mongolian archers as they aim and hit targets with traditional bows and arrows.
