Worth the visit. Allow about 2 hrs - I have passed this Battleship many times and finally decided to visit. Very interesting part of history and what life on a Battleship would be like for our military. Self guided tour go at your own pace but stairs may be hard to navigate for elderly. Worth the $.

Wonderful Experience! - The USS Alabama Memorial Park is impressive. So much history and hands-on experience gives it real meaning. Plan to stay at least half a day to be immersed in an extensive experience. The restaurant also has the best potato salad I’ve ever had.

Honeymoon road trip stop - Visited the USS ALABAMA 22/05/25. We are road tripping across the states on our honeymoon and this was a must visit. Firstly the cost was ridiculously cheap. Back at home in the UK the HMS Belfast battleship is around £50 per person. Today was $18 dollars each. The planes tanks and submarine was great to see and board. Not to mention they have a SR-71 ! My 3rd one I've seen 😃 then the ALABAMA was crazy huge. We spent 4 hours and had to leave as we was booked to be in New Orleans but could easily spent the whole day there. Thanks for keeping history alive

Exceptional! - I visited the USS Alabama on Saturday 4/12/25. I have visited many WW2 ships and this is by far the cleanest and well maintained ships I’ve had the opportunity to visit. Chip Dobson was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the ship. I will recommend this history museum to everybody I can and will most definitely visit again! 5 stars!!!

Good historical tour - This is a self guided tour. We did all three tours without the battleship. We also looked at all the planes and vehicles inside the ticket booth area. Great experience if you’ve near toured a battleship.

Fantastic! Get a big taste of engineering. - Been to other battleships and this one was the best experience! Our kids (elementary and middle school) loved it and there was so much to take in. It was especially cool to be able to see the submarine as well. The restoration was so well done. And we were especially excited to be able to go in and see the ammo hold and how that worked.

lovely historical ship and other military items - We loved our visit to the USS Alabama. We were attending a conference and decided to check it out since nearly everyone in our party had some ties to the military academic-wise. What a treat. Best of all was seeing so many kinds of people visit this facility and everyone was made welcome. I love my country and so glad we can share our shared history!

Good history museum! - Wonderful museum to look at different aviation and ship military vehicles. I learned a lot about the USS ALABAMA and got to see the inside of a war ship and submarine. Would highly recommend!

Been here before, but this is a great experience - This is the third time I have visited the Alabama Memorial. I enjoy the history and it is amazing to see how complex the operation of this ship was even 80 years ago. It was not an easy life being a sailor and it gives you a greater respect to those of "the greatest generation" who fought and won WWII. This is an amazing area and museum for anyone visiting the Mobile AL, area. I can't recommend it highly enough.
