Battleship and submarine - Go early before it gets too hot or do the outside first. Lots to see if you follow the tour correctly. Goes by numbers.

Battleship - A great collection of planes and a submarine. The coolest part though is certainly the battleship which you can check out from mechanical stuff to gun turrets and the bridge well worth the viait

Amazing experience - We loved this place. So much history!! The Battleship was amazing, I didn’t walk all the down, a little claustrophobic. But it was still amazing. It’s a must see if you are a History Buff!!

Excellent experience - It was one of the highlights of our trip. Well worth the time and money. We had to cut the outside part short because of lightning.

U.S. Military History On Display - The USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park displays a lot of U.S. military history, especially from WWII. The USS Drum submarine was very interesting to explore. The park has indoor aviation exhibits and the surrounding grounds have a plethora of aircraft and vehicles to checkout. I would have enjoyed having onsite docents explain the history and operations of both the battleship and submarine but the tours are “self guided” only. Many displays and exhibits do not have placards or detailed information. Nevertheless, it was well worth the $18 admission. Recommended.
