Unique experience - Great hike with great views...some steep areas to cross as it is said in the description but very short....recommended for hikers with love for nature. The hike is out of the beaten paths since you dont cross anyone during the whole excursion

Incredible tour - Alfonzo was awesome! He is very talkative and knows what he is doing. Lots of really cool learning opportunities about the vegetation and different terrain. The beach and snorkeling was the best part! Amazing views during the hike. Highly recommend.

Excelent - Highly recommended! If you are looking for a hike out off the beaten track, this is your experience. We were in a small group with the guide, Alfonso, who was explaining about the wildlife, plantations, plants and history of the area.  Once in the natural park we crossed some steep and irregular areas (said in the description), where Alfonso was helping some people in the group. Once we reached the beach, we were in paradise. No one there, just us, in the middle of the mediterranean sea. It is difficult to find an empty beach nowadays on the busy mediterranean coast. Once in the beach we went for snorkelling which was very nice. We could make very cool shooting with our gopro. After 1h30 minutes in the beach we came back to the van.  Alfonso was very kind and informative along the morning and tried to make everybody comfortable in the group. Overall, an amazing experience.

Highlight of our holidays in Costa del Sol - What a wonderful trip. Best day of our vacations in Spain. We started the hike crossing some tropical plantations: bananas, mangos, avocados, custard apple...after that we got into the natural park and what a stunning views from the cliffs. Be ready to descend steep areas until the beach, some areas are challenging...not for every body....once in the beach we could relax and enjoy in this unique place. We were alone in the beach and we started with the snorkelling. We saw a lot of fish in the turquoise water. It really felt like vacations!

Great adventure - Totally worth the money we spent. Alfonso's explanations were super interesting. He made sure everyone was feeling ok by making as many stops as necessary in order to check in on people who had a little more trouble following along and by offering to walk alongside them. The views were breathtaking. The region we visited is beautiful and the plantations are very nice. Thank you for everything, Alfonso.

Read this before booking - The views are really nice, you can definitely see many fruits and veggies. I would say you need to be really experienced in hiking and sometes almost climbing. You need to be sportsy and thin because the road sometimes is really narrow and high with possibilities of falling down the mountain.

Did not enjoy this trip - dangerous in places - This was a difficult day and experience. A lot harder than crossing 'steep and irregular terrain' implies in my opinion, and dangerous in places. I did not enjoy this experience at all. Rather than spend this review complaining, I will instead try and offer practical advice (some of which I feel should have been included in the details of this trip) to help other people decide if this is a trip for them. You do need to be at least moderately fit, and previous hiking experience would be very useful - note I said hiking and not rambling. Wear appropriate footwear and ensure any rucksacks are sturdy. The meeting time is stated as 8.30am; this should read 8.15/8.20am as the transport departs at 8.30am and we were emailed saying people were waiting for us even though we arrived dead on 8.30am. There is a toilet stop at a petrol station on the way to the hike site. This is the only opportunity to use toilet facilities during the whole day (and is the only place I've ever come across with multiple male toilets and only one female toilet). There are no changing facilities, so either wear swimwear or bring a large towel to change on the beach. We did this hike in Sept 2022 - there was very little shade on the beach at all when we arrived, and that had almost gone by the time we left. If you are someone like me that struggles in heat, you need to bear this in mind. Bring footwear for the beach, such as flip flops, as the stones are especially painful underfoot. Bring a spare t-shirt. The last part of the walk back to the vehicle (after the uphill climb back to the road) had no shade (about 15-20 minutes) and a clean t shirt to change into would have made the journey back a lot pleasanter. Hope this helps.

Negligent guide - Not an experience I care to repeat. On the plus side, seeing the crops were cool and the views were magnificent. The trek was far more dangerous than anticipated however, whilst the description was noted, there was some very treacherous terrain with narrow paths with loose ground next to steep drops. The biggest disappointment was the guide however, Fernando. On the descent he was engaged and supervised with advice occasionally. On the return however he ignored our struggles in the heat and was only interested in chatting to the girls at the front of the group. Not once did he check we were ok or offer assistance, and every time we caught up he didn't allow us a rest or to take in water before marching off again, which made things worse. My feeling is that he has done the trek many times and is indifferent to those that might be inconvenient. I consider this to be gross negligence, so be aware before booking.
