MIRIUM was the highlight of my bus tour. - My first trip to Malaga and thought I would try the hop on bus to get an overview of the city. It gave me exactly that but with a wonderful bonus. The staff so friendly and welcoming. One lady in particular, MIRIUM, went over and above to ensure my first trip to Malaga was as good as it could be. With wonderful advice and help…she truly was an angel. Thank you so much, MIRIUM, you obviously love and put everything into your work xx

We recommend - Weekend in malaga with a group of friends. We decided to make the ticket and see if we had missed anything on our walking itinerary. Great tour at a really affordable price. We also used the bus to go to Alcazaba and to visit the botanical garden, not to go to the beach.

Not the best - As others have said the bus is always late! We were told it would be along in 10/15 minutes but took over 30 minutes - is that Spanish time? How many buses are there in February? The audio commentary is poor, we thought it wasn’t working but there are looong periods of silence and not much information - is Malaga really that boring? Music between the commentary may not be to everyone’s liking but it’s there for a reason!? For me, the volume is too low and drowned out by the noise of the bus, time for electric buses? Don’t think we got the full tour, was it curtailed? At stop 1 we were told to get off the bus and another bus was coming along in a couple of minutes. After much more than 2 minutes we gave up and left. Summary: very poor and probably the second worst of our Hop on/ Hop off experiences around the world. The worst being Benalmádena! Spain doesn’t have to try any more and it shows!! Update: went on different bus next day and, lo and behold, more commentary, louder, and music between commentary. Also today’s guide explained that route is shorter due to roadworks. Must depend on what bus you go on!

Better to run - I waited 35 minutes on the beach for the bus. Now I have been standing for 30 minutes waiting for the bus to the botanical garden. Thanks for waiting, so I can write my trouble in peace. Once you're on the bus - the explanations are good. Because of my foot injury, I bought the ticket in the first place. Otherwise I would definitely not recommend this tour.

This is something to skip. - Buses are infrequent in arriving at stops. One of the routes had a 75 minute wait per stop. Some of the stops are not well marked and it’s hard to tell where to get on buses. They advertise 24 hours, but the printed schedule doesn’t show that.

Give it a miss! - Not a very good tour at all - very limited information about the city sights and history so not really worth it at all. Such a lovely city and this doe nothing to enhance local tourism which is a shame as we have used in other cities and found these tours interesting and informative. You would better booking a walking tour or bike tour rather than spend money on this…..poor service also and waiting around. Our bus broke down it was so old and no-one really cares after taking your money

Not good value - This was 25 euros and. Not worth it. Stops were fairly close and not worth this cost14 stops on the red line - didn’t ever see the other lines. Waited about 40 mins for this bus at stop 11. Not much of a commentary going on . The bicycle or walking tours look like the way to go. Book walking tour in advance as they book up. Lower the price to 10-12 and it’s ok.

Hop on hop off - Booking a tour with hop on hop off company, not worth the money, very unhelpful staff, the bus moved very slow, we were not given our ear hearing plugs to hear the tourist information. We had to go back to the driver and ask for them. The bus then did not go on the specified route, we wanted to visit the botanic gardens which were on the green route, the staff were very unhelpful to us. We never got to see the botanic gardens. Total waste of €50. Get the public transport instead.

75 euros paid and then not allowed, no money back - We bought 3 tickets when we were at the stop. On the column you are requested to do so in advance online. Total 75 euros. When the bus came, it turned out that we were not allowed in because we had a dog with us. The driver said we should just send an email to get our money back. We contacted by phone, sent an email but so far we have not received our money back. 75 euros!!! In the past we have taken the hop on hop off bus more often, in various cities. But in Malaga we have been treated rudely by the driver and the office does not respond to our requests. You can make amends if you still contact us to return our money. Incidentally, there was nothing on the column or on the website (where you have to go to pay) about a dog. So we couldn't have known in advance. And even then, if you're denied, you should get your money back. We live in Spain and therefore also speak the language. But we are not used to such dealings from Spaniards.
