• Mercado Central de Atarazanas - The Central Market of Atarazanas is one of the city’s most iconic structures.
• Estadio La Rosaleda - As we leave the city, we pass by the Malaga football stadium, located next to the Guadalmedina River.
• Jardin Botanico Historico La Concepcion - Before beginning the climb to Los Montes, we exit to the right at the La Concepción botanical garden.
• Montes de Malaga Natural Park - We enter the Montes de Malaga Natural Park via the stonecutters path, surrounded by a stunning pine forest with breathtaking views and wild horses.
• Hotel Humaina - This delightful hotel is nestled in the heart of the Natural Park.
• Mirador Vazquez Sell - At the park’s upper section, we reach the Mirador de Ignacio Sell, offering views of Malaga city and much of the province, including the Torcal de Antequera and the Sierra de las Nieves. Here, we will pause briefly to enjoy a snack and the magnificent scenery.
• Fuente la Reina - We arrive at the Queen’s Fountain, the highest point of the route, where the descent begins.
• Mirador Del Cochino - Shortly after starting the descent, we take a detour to visit the renowned Cochino viewpoint, facing south to admire the bay, and on a clear day, the mountains of Morocco.
• Venta El Mijeño - During the descent back to Malaga, we will make a final stop at the well-known Venta el Mijeño.
