10/10 experience! - We had a stop in a lovely town called Ardales before heading to El Caminito. Ardales is a lovely local town which allowed us to immerse ourselves in local culture. Our guide (Jave) was super knowledgeable, funny and friendly. Our driver also did an amazing job. 10/10 experience!

Definitely do EN and try asking for Laura as a guide! - Very nice excursion, well organized with top guide Laura EN very good DE driver Sergio (a good driver i seen plus in the winding lanes) . Only DE guide on DE Camonito itself - we were split up because we were a large group - was less pleasant. A permanent waterfall that allowed us to enjoy the experience more or less DE. DE group that stayed with Laura loved it! -

Stunning scenery, tour a bit rushed - This tour lasted most of the day. The ticket essentially pays for transport out there, access to the site, and a guided walk. There was a short stop in one of the villages on the way where you can purchase water, food, or coffee, etc. Transport: Have to admit, the tour didn’t start too well with the bus running late by about 30-40min and we were all standing around in the heat until it got there. Transport went smoothly once it actually arrived, but the bus air conditioning didn’t work very well and it was a sweaty trip back after walking in the summer heat. Tour: Overall, if I was to do this again I’d prefer to go self-guided. I felt like we were a bit rushed through the walk, with limited time to stop take photos, and admire the view. Also, the group was very big, so the guide would be explaining something up the front, but on occasions people at the back couldn’t hear him at all because the radio/earpiece didn’t have enough range. And if you were towards the back, by the time you made it to the point he was talking about, he had already moved on and was talking about something else further on. This was a shame as he seemed very knowledgeable about the site and its history. Walk: The scenery itself is stunning, and I don’t regret going at all. But it would’ve been nice to have more time to just take it in as we walked, rather than feeling rushed and having someone talking at us the whole time. May just be a reflection of my personal preferences for hiking style though, and I’m sure some others prefer to move fast and have constant information coming at them. The walk itself wasn’t too difficult. You must be able to walk up and down stairs, but other than that it would suit most fitness levels. Summary: Ideally for me, I’d do the walk in my own time with perhaps a downloadable at-your-own-pace audio guide. Peak summer was very hot, so shoulder seasons would be better (although probably busier!) The tour was informative, but I’ve learned probably not the right style for me. Would suit others. Stunning scenery.
