Amazing reef, beautiful staff and wonderful trip! - Big shout out to the crew - Courtney, Lochie and especially smiley Ken, who went out of his way to make sure we were enjoying our trip. The whole experience was so unique - flying across the waves in “Mad Max” listening to some rock n roll and heading out Upolu Reef. We had a beautiful time snorkelling and even got to see a lil turtle :) thank you so much to the whole team it honestly exceeded our expectations because of you guys! Would highly recommend

Mission Beach - amazing snorkling Great Barrier Reef - Family of five and we all had the most amazing morning. Perfect amount of time too - allowed for a relaxing afternoon after so much action. From the moment we arrived at the boat, knew we were in great hands. Toby and Lily were both organised, fun to listen to, a wealth of knowledge and made the morning A+. We were lucky with a very late in season whale spotting, amazing weather, calm waters - leading to best snorkling in a veryblong time & fun boat ride - even our nervous youngest is a convert. Thanks so much, would definitely return!

Awesome half-day snorkeling at Upolu reef departing from Cairns - We were looking for a trip to the great barrier reef in the morning of our last day visiting Cairns, as we had to head to the airport at 1PM! We found out that the reef adventures crew had just started half-day tours to Upolu reef from Cairns and we immediately booked: no expectations, just ready for an adventure! It was perfect :) the crew was the most friendly, all good people, with a great taste in music on the Mad Max and with the best tips. We really had the best time snorkeling in Upolu, away from the crowds, getting to see the beauty of the reef with a small group! Definitely recommend it!

Great Snorkeling Trip to Beaver Reef on Great Queensland Barrier Reef, Australia off Mission Beach - My wife and myself ( 75 years of age, experienced snorkelier ) had a thoroughly enjoyable trip to Beaver Reef about 1 hr off Mission Beach, Great Barrier Reef, far northern tropical Queensland, Australia. I had 1.5 hours continuous snorkeling , great experience and very good value for money.

Wonderland under water - The trip was excellent. The crew -Toby and Courtney -balanced professionalism and friendliness perfectly to keep us all safe and to meet our need for adventure. Unbelievably a whale approached us whilst we were snorkeling. Excitement continued as we saw turtles, small sharks and many beautiful fish and corals. Also saw dolphins and whale pod as we returned to shore. The group have very good equipment and managed the time well. Meekly done Highly recommended

Friendly staff, some concerns. - Very friendly staff, nice boat, snorkeling equipment and wet suits in very good condition. They advertised noodles, but there were a lot of children and insufficient noodles for all who wanted them. If you have been to the reef before, especially over a number of years, the ongoing damage is very noticeable. A lot of brown, dead coral and fewer fish, though what remains is beautiful (disclaimer: on our trip we were unable to visit both dive sites due to weather conditions/current, and possibly the other is better). My biggest concern was safety. The day was choppy with relatively strong currents. I saw the in-water guide once, soon after we entered the water, and there was confusion among those around me about where we were heading. It was too easy in the choppy water to lose sight of the rest of the party, and while looking at coral, to be swept away from them, and hard not to panic when you suddenly realise there is no one within sight. We were told to raise a fist if we needed assistance, but this is not easy in choppy water and not helpful when you can't see the guide and they, presumably, can not see you. One guy was watching from the boat, but he can't look in every direction at once. I returned to the boat when I felt unsafe. It was tough swimming against the current. By chance, I arrived at around the same time as the others, but I didn't hear the horn that would allegedly call us back. In contrast with my previous reef trips, it would have been scarily easy to get into serious trouble and the in-water guide was nowhere in sight.
