We aim to be in YALA National Park at dawn for the Morning Safari or at dusk for the Afternoon Safari. These “Golden Hours” offer the best chance to spot the elusive Sri Lankan leopards, a subspecies native to Sri Lanka. YALA National Park is home to approximately a hundred leopards, boasting the highest leopard density in the world.
There is also the possibility of encountering sloth bears, elephants, crocodiles, monkeys, spotted deer, mongoose, birds, and a variety of other species.
Your comfort and safety are our utmost priorities, so we use only the rugged Toyota Hilux 4X4 vehicles for the game drives.
- Patanangala - At the end of the first game drive, you will have a break to refresh at Patanangala beach inside YALA National Park, facing the Indian Ocean.
You can enjoy breakfast during this break. Breakfast is not included in the tour but can be requested for an additional charge of 8 USD per person. (Please send meal requests at least a day before the tour)
