Shanghai - Huangshan (D)

Shanghai Railway Station - Guests will be picked up at 7:00 am from their hotel in Shanghai city to catch the 8:00 am train, arriving in Huangshan at 11:20 am. Upon arrival, a local guide will warmly welcome them in the arrival hall and escort them directly to Huangshan by private car, which takes about an hour.

Huangshan Mountain Shimen Canyon - The exciting Huangshan adventure starts with a ride on the Yungu cable car (included). The 10-minute journey offers breathtaking views. Upon reaching the peak, a 30-minute walk to the hotel awaits, with sights like Black Tiger Pine and Dream Flower Pine along the way. Visitors can climb to the ‘Beginning-to-Believe’ Peak and explore the Mushroom Pavilion, followed by a sunset view at Cloud-dispelling Pavilion.

A delightful mountain dinner will be ready upon returning to the hotel. Guests can then rest well to gather energy for the early morning sunrise.

Huangshan - Tangmo Village - Shanghai (B, L)

Huangshan Mountain Shimen Canyon - Rise at dawn to witness the sunrise before enjoying breakfast. Refreshing Terrace is a recommended spot. Continue exploring the wonders of Mt. Huangshan, including Lion Peak, Dawn Pavilion, Stone Monkey Watching the Sea, and the various shapes of pines along the path. For hiking enthusiasts, the West Sea Grand Canyon offers an exhilarating route in the Huangshan area.

Huangshan Tangmo Scenic Spot - After breakfast, head to Tangmo Village, a picturesque ancient village with over a thousand years of history. The village showcases authentic Hui-style architecture.

Tangmo Village, also known as “Small West Lake,” was thoughtfully designed by generations. Visitors have the opportunity to try Scripture Rubbing (optional), a remarkable skill used by Chinese scholars to transfer calligraphy from stones, made from plant fiber. It can be used in two ways to capture the calligraphy. Learn and create a piece of work.

Finally, the local guide will escort guests to the train station. Departure is at 16:30 from Huangshan, arriving at Hongqiao station at 19:30. Upon arrival at the Shanghai station, a driver will be waiting in the arrival hall to return guests to their hotel in Shanghai.
