The best day of our holiday - Wow! We had a very memorable day exploring Santo Antao. Very varied; mountains, fishing village, lush plantations, authentic Cape Verdean feast and a distillery too! Thoroughly enjoyable. Madou made it even better! Thank you

Worth the price - Extremely good visit with an excellent guide. Worth the price to see this island! I think it's the best of all the islands in Cabo Verde

One of the best Island of Cape Verde - Beautiful and very green with plantations. Apparently, most of the bananas and breadfruit in Sao Vincent come from the farms in Santo Antao. A great place for hiking.

Nice day trip, well suited for families. - To make it short, it all worked out for us (family with 6-year-old child) and everyone enjoyed it. We had concerns beforehand about whether the ferry crossing, which took place in decent wind and sea conditions, would crash the trip right at the beginning due to emerging seasickness, but fortunately that was not the case. The crossing takes only an hour and was good even for my wife, who likes to have problems in this direction. Tip: Go to the upper deck and keep an eye on the horizon. The organization of the excursion was excellent. Everything worked out from the punctual pick-up at our accommodation at 06.25 to the ferry, the ferry crossing at 07.00, the pick-up at the port of Porto Novo, the visit to the individual destinations to the return to our accommodation. Worth mentioning is our good English speaking guide Madu, who accompanied us competently and pleasantly through the day. Santo Antaõ is by far the most beautiful of the islands we visited (Boaviste, Sal and Sao Vicente), so it is definitely worth a visit. The tasty food is also worth mentioning with typical dishes (including plantains, cassava and breadfruit as accompaniments to fish and chicken) (10 euros per person). If you as a family - like us - cannot undertake long hiking tours, this day trip is a recommended variant.

Highly recommend this tour on an amazing island! - The tour was excellent and I couldn't rate our tour guide Madu highly enough. He was very knowledgeable of the island and nothing was too much trouble! He was able to keep us on track across the many interesting stops we had on the island. The lunch was also really filling and tasty. Overall I would say excellent value for money for a day trip that would otherwise be challenging to replicate yourself without hiring a car. We got to see a wide number of highlights and it was a great contrast to the other Cape Verde islands we visited. Overall highly recommend! Thank you Madu!

Santo Antao 1 February 2025 - Mahdou, our French speaking guide, had a wonderful day! The mountains and valleys are impressive. Our guide, born on the island, shares with us the evolution of life on the island, projects, ways of living of the inhabitants according to their locality. It answers all our questions, introduces us to agriculture and the challenges of climatic and environmental hazards. We will come back for sure and recommend Madhou to all French tourists!

Great experience! - Excellent day trip. Picked up at accommodation bang on time, and saw so much in the day without ever feeling rushed. Danny was a splendid guide, personable, knowledgeable and with a great sense of humour. Driving was perfect on some spectacular mountain roads, and the views were incredible. Lunch at Divin Art was a highlight too, tremendous food and ponche. A perfectly curated experience!

Great day trip to Santo Antão - This day trip I can not do but recommend. There were five of us in the group who were super well taken care of by our guide who was incredibly knowledgeable and nice. The atmosphere was great and even though we were strangers to each other when the day started we ended up as friends and had an incredible number of good laughs along the way. An unforgettable day on our vacation that we are so grateful that we got to experience. For God's sake, don't miss Santo Antão because it's the most beautiful thing we've seen!
