We will sample 3 sparkling wines crafted using 3 distinct methods.
Exquisite sparkling wines are present in nearly every Italian region. While some areas are more renowned and ideal for cultivation, such as Veneto (Prosecco), Lombardy (Franciacorta, Oltrepò-Pavese Classic Method), Piedmont (Asti, Alta Langa), Trentino (Trentodoc), and Emilia-Romagna (Lambrusco), there are also lesser-known regions from north to south.
To gain a deeper understanding of the variations among sparkling wines, we will explore the different production methods (which affect both price and quality), the production regions, their history, and local traditions.
We will taste together 3 sparkling wines produced with:

1 Martinotti or Charmat method
1 classic method
