A jewel in the heart of Milan - The Pinacoteca Ambrosiana is a jewel in the heart of Milan that houses, among others, masterpieces by Botticelli, Titian, Raphael, Leonardo and Caravaggio. The Library (where pages of Leonardo's Atlantic Codex are exhibited) and the Crypt are also stupendous. Excellent experience.

A hidden treasure in the heart of Milan - A place that surprises and leaves you speechless. The Pinacoteca Ambrosiana is an experience to live calmly, between incredible masterpieces and an atmosphere that seems suspended in time. Walking through its rooms is a privilege: Raphael's Cartoon, Leonardo's Portrait of a Musician and many other treasures are revealed in an elegant and intimate setting. Every corner tells a story, every work deserves to be discovered carefully. A museum that is not expected and that remains in the heart.

Pinacoteca of great value and not only - Palace 2 steps from the cathedral, beautiful already of its own with halls, courtyards and other well preserved that contains a The excellent art gallery, depositary of masterpieces of great value, is really worth a visit: Caravaggio's fruit basket, the cartoon of the School of Athens, Leonardo's portrait of a musician (but also the Atlantic codex in a library room) are examples of the hundreds of works it contains with some examples of contemporary art. Highly recommended, the ticket is valid for the whole day so you can go out (perhaps for a break) and then return. It is highly recommended the ticket including a visit to the underground church of s. Sepulchre attached to the Art Gallery.

Organization and education of personnel can be improved. - Judgment referring exclusively to management and organization, not to works. Organization that could be improved with a little attention, at the entrance there are employees who explain how to access the guide on their smartphone, but after a while they fall out of style when they try to place acoustic headphones for a “symbolic amount” of one euro, obviously all without a receipt. In the room, a control employee was often annoyed by any attitude of each person, often lacking politeness when trying to silence the audience by accentuating a “shhhhh!!” In a very uneducated way and in keeping with the environment. If you enter during the last visiting hours you will not be able to visit the crypt because the staff will put you in a hurry, I recommend visiting it in the morning or early afternoon. If you download the telematic guide make sure your smartphone is up to date with the operating system, otherwise it will not work (bad experience with iOS). For two entrances we are about 20 € abundant per person, but the works on display are wonderful.
