Best guide - Stefano at Abroad’s Tours is enthusiastic and captivating. His charm is the perfect backdrop for the rolling hills of Barolo and Barbaresco.

Great time for all involved. - Great time for all involved. My wife and I met a few people at the second pickup place Called Bar Italia. By the middle of the trip all 18 people are friends . Stefano had a history lesson and cultural lessons and trivia tests the entire trip there and back. The first stop was an old beautiful winery/museum. The second was a gorgeous town for truffles and wine, plus we all went off for lunch. Awesome food there. Last stap was a winery called Montaribaldi. We had a guided tour and wine tasting. The wine was very good the winery tour guide, she was very knowledgeable and was very funny.

Highly recommended trip - Stefano led an amazing trip with visits to UNESCO castle, central Alba and the Montaribaldi winery. Between the history he provided of Italy and the region, his fun and interactive banter throughout the trip and the amazing experiences at each stop, he went above and beyond to make the trip enjoyable for everyone. I would highly recommend any tour with him and Abroad’s Tours.

A most enjoyable day excursion from Milan. - This a personalized tour with a small group visiting beautiful countryside. Stefano and team entertained us while teaching us about the history of Italy and Piedmont followed by truffle tastings, lunch and wine tastings

Best way to spend a day - Fun, informative and memorable! Steffano is an awesome guide - full of interesting facts about the history of Italy and the region. First time experience of tasting truffles and enjoyed the wine tasting immensely. Liked being with a small group rather than being herded around in a large group. Scenery was spectacular! Don't miss!

AMAZING!!!!! - This wine tasting experience is nothing short of perfection. It was SUCH a phenomenal experience, and I'm SO glad that I did it. I was able to meet some lovely and wonderful people, in addition to learning so much about the Barolo wine culture. It was eye-opening, and I'm grateful for having done this tour. I highly recommend it to EVERYONE! We had a wonderful coach driver (Fabio), and our tour guide (Mara) was absolutely amazing. You couldn't ask for more. Special thanks once again to City Wonders, Fabio, and of course Mara for a perfect day. Ciao! ♥️

Barolo wine tasting - Excellent trip! We visited the little town on Alba where we ate lunch. We then went to the winery for a tour of the cellar and wine tasting. We visited a castle which had beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and vineyards. Stefano was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. He gave lots of history of the area and made the trip very fun and interesting. Highly recommend this tour!

Barolo wine tasting, Alba, UNESCORTED Castle tour - The most relaxing tour we ever had. Stephano was very knowledgeable about history of Italia. We love the food and service of which he recommended. The tour was not crowded, it was a small group. Unlike other tours we had, you ride in a nice van not a big bus. For the winery and the castle, the photos can’t do justice. Overall, we had a great day! Thank you Sthepano!!!

Alba is wonderful and the guide was excellent - Outstanding day trip to a less touristy extremely beautiful part of Italy. Stephano is engaging and generous with historical context about some of the reasons Italy is the way it is- the small group tour is emphatically superior to the larger tours. The geography surrounding the visited winery was unreal with spectacular beauty- not easily captured with even the best camera. The highlight for me was visiting Alba, tasting truffles in a local shop (absolute favorite), and enjoying a superlative lunch- truffle overload! The wine tasting was exceptional and the winery owner’s passion was quite palpable. The castle was a beautiful visual, but the history and interior was seemingly limited to wine making, and not as interesting as I had hoped.
