Additional Information
A very Small-Group tour departing from Milan Central station for the transfer, either by train or by minibus, to Lake Como where we take a short walk in the charming village of Varenna and adjacent area. Afterwards we experience a 15 minutes public ferry boat cruise for another perspective of this landscapes beauty! Getting back in our minivan we drive along a panoramic section of the lake shore with spectacular view heading toward a restaurant possibly where they serve some local dishes: cheese sauced buckweath pasta, venison and cured meat etc (on your own expenses, average € 30/35 per person) and after that we explore the nearby off-the-beaten-path region where we can admire the UNESCO dry-stone walls of the vineyards terraces and, if possible, a short visit with tasting of a local wine producer (on your own expenses, average € 20 per person). Finally we either take the train or minibus for the return to Milan Central station.

- Minimum age is 12 years
- Not recommended for travellers with heart problems or other serious medical conditions. It is a 12 hours long day involving some uphill walk and stairs.

Unbelievable must do day trip!! - One of the best tours I have ever been on and with the nicest most informative tour guide Luca..
From the outset, everything was very straight forward, meeting point, transport and plan for the day ahead. Initially we worried it would have been too long a day but it flew by and just kept getting better as the hours went on 🇮🇹❤️
Before arriving in Italy Luca was very easy to get in touch with and replied to any questions via trip advisor promptly.
It was my husbands 50th birthday trip and Luca could not have made it any more special.
Taking us to the most beautiful parts of Varenna, lake como, vineyards, winery’s, castles, stone walls, and lunch in one of the most scenic farm house restaurants I have ever seen.
And not forgetting our special treat at the end of our day from Luca with a trip to his local gelato shop for an amazing yoghurt gelato dessert❤️
He was also an excellent photographer into the bargain lol..
I would highly highly recommend this day to anyone considering to book it, as it was the highlight of our trip. The scenes I will never forget.
And the facts we took home we will remember forever.

5 star very small group - Superb personal service in a small minivan around the lake. We met an employee at a designated spot at the Milan train station. That employee put us on a train north. At second stop, we were picked up after 40 minute train ride we were picked up by the owner of the tour operator . The owner had lived in the US and spoke perfect English.

Best Day Ever! - Luca and his colleague were excellent hosts! This was an amazing experience and I would recommend this tour to EVERYONE. Luca is a top notch guide and was so accommodating. The next time I’m in Italy, I will definitely book with him again. Thanks Luca for such a wonderful time during our Lake Como experience!

Dreamy Time at Lake Como - This tour was wonderful. Lake Como was beautiful and the views were spectacular and breathtaking. Our tour guide, Lucca, did everything to ensure we enjoyed our time. The stop and tour of the mill was charming. I couldn't believe I was having wine and cheese in the beautiful yard of a resident of this area with great company and a view of the Italian Alps. Take a tour with Lucca and have a great time!

Beautiful day spent in Italy - A wonderful and memorable day was had with Luca! My fiancé and I had participated on this tour on Jul 31, 2023, the day exceeded our expectations. We took in the views of Lake Como, saw sone castles, visited some towns off the beaten track, had a delightful lunch and went to a vineyard. Luca is knowledgeable and informative. We truly enjoyed our day with him and would highly recommend this tour. It is berry organized with lots to see. You won’t be disappointed!

Beautiful off the beaten path visit to Lake Como - Hello- this was a wonderful day! Initially we were concerned that the hours would be long; however, they were filled with beautiful sights, history, food, and wine!
We took a train from Milano to Vernazzo, where the guide delivered us to Lucca, a long time resident of the area. In Vernazzo enjoyed the beauty of the town and the protective fort- which afforded amazing views and interesting history! We took the ferry past Bellagio to Menaggio where Lucca and an excellent driver took the five of us to a very characteristic town/ restaurant for delicious and traditional food — we then drove to the neatest winery and went into the wine caves for history, tasting. We were delivered back to a train to Milan Centrale. This tour was fully and personally guided from Milan to Milan. It was a wonderful and beautiful day. Grazie Manuela for accompanying us from Milan, grazie to Lucca per tutto il giorno, e grazie a Igor (?) our very wonderful and safe driver

Enjoyable outing With Sylvia! - Had a fun day out with Sylvia our guide and an American couple. Our group was small and intimate. Sylvia is very knowledgeable, helpful and fun to be with. Our driver (sorry can’t remember his name) is a very helpful and careful driver.

Informative, fun, delicious, insider adventure to Como area - Mara had great inside knowledge to the surrounding area with regards to history, food, culture and geography. Went with two other couples, and we all had big smiles and full belly’s from start to finish.
