During this multisensory tasting, we’ll uncover the secrets to distinguishing between light-bodied and full-bodied wines. By simply observing, we can get the first hints of its body by swirling the glass to gauge its “resistance”… Then, we proceed to the olfactory and gustatory examination to form a complete assessment.
We’ll sample 3 red wines from various regions across Italy, each with different body and intensity. Examples include: Alto Adige (Lagrein, Schiava), Piedmont (Barbera, Barolo), Lombardy (Pinot Noir), Tuscany (Sangiovese), Emilia Romagna (Lambrusco), Lazio (Cesanese del Piglio), Campania (Aglianico), Umbria (Sagrantino), Abruzzo (Montepulciano), Puglia (Negramaro, Primitivo), Sicily (Nero D’Avola, Nerello Mascalese).
