- Church of Paraportiani - Located in the Kastro neighborhood of Chora on the Greek island of Mykonos, the Church of Panagia Paraportiani is named “Our Lady of the Side Gate” in Greek, as its entrance was situated at the side gate of the Kastro area.
- Windmills of Mykonos - The windmills of Mykonos are a renowned feature of the Greek island. They are the first sight upon entering the harbor of Alefkandra, perched on a hill overlooking the area. Most windmills face north, where the island’s climate brings the strongest winds for most of the year. Currently, there are 16 windmills on Mykonos, with seven located on the landmark hill in Chora. Many were built by the Venetians in the 16th century, with construction continuing into the early 20th century. They were mainly used for milling wheat and were a vital source of income for the locals. Their use gradually declined until they stopped production in the mid-20th century. Each windmill shares a similar architecture, featuring a round shape, white color, pointed roof, and very small windows. One of these windmills has been converted into a museum.
